Great gift for a 8 yr old

This was super fun and easy to put together is functional worth every penny looks cool

The media could not be loaded. Me and my son put this together. Fairly simple. Small parts. Mine came with a broken battery tray so we just spliced the wires and found a plug for an old rc car laying around and using that and works great.

Needs a volume control, speakers are very loud

My son loved putting this together on his own and uses it in his room all the time!

This is fun to build. I bought it as a gift for 10 10-year-old boy. He built it by himself. It sounds surprisingly well. Considering it's a child's toy.

This was a kit that was easy for my 10 year old to put together and it worked perfectly. You could use a soldering iron for a couple of connections if you wanted, but it's not needed at all. My son did it at the table, no soldering, and it didn't take very long.The only issue we had was the external battery pack (holds 4 AA batteries-not included), didn't stay attached with the included screws. The wood frame is thin and the screws don't have much to bite onto. You can either get different screws or use a strong double sided tape (or 2 3M command strips) to affix it in place. I didn't take any points off for this because it's such a cheap kit and so easy to make stronger.The speaker has no volume control on it, so you need to use your phone's, or other Bluetooth device's, volume to turn it up or down. It starts off really loud, so be prepared.I recommend this 100%!
