This camera is easy to set up and makes great photos day and night. I'm very pleased with the camera as well as the price. The night pictures are clear and not grainy like much more expensive name brand cameras.Can't beat it for the money. The only irregularity is it uses 8 AA batteries but only comes with 4. Not a big deal.

easy Set up, good photography

I needed the camera to see who is messing with our plants every night.The camera is well built, easy to operate, easy to understand. menus are clear and have many good and useful options, and it does not include any wireless/wifi/bluetooth that complicate things.Just turn on and start working. exactly what I was looking for.Pictures and video were very clear, it did catch small movement like the rat we had around while did not catch movement of the plants leafs moving by the wind. well done.The biggest issue I had was with the software, It does have bugs. I set the video length to 10 sec and it worked well for couple of days, the third day it suddenly capture only 1 sec for each clip. I increased it to 15 sec and the it catch 6 sec each clip. Increasing it to 25 sec it took 7 sec clips. I think it just adds the 2 digits like - 25 = 2+5 = 7 and this is the length.the menu screen did froze one time and the camera did a reset, and the replay was stuck and then reset.I do love this camera, but still not sure if ill keep it. Software bugs are easy and cheap to fix, hopefully the manufacturer will come out with a fixed software version.

East to use & takes good pictures

I'm not sure if it's the camera or the card that came with it, but this has taken zero pictures. We have other trail cameras in the same area that have gotten tons of photos, but this one has nothing. I tried reformatting it, changing the sensitivity settings, and all kinds of stuff, but I can't get it to work.

Has an AC power input so I don't need batteries but doesn't come with one.Has to be a certain type to fit. Had a tough time finding one. Still had to use an adapter to plug into the unit. If the plug even moves a little it loses connection, power and no videos are recorded. With a 256gb sim card, you get maybe 3 days of recording vids when the cord isn't disturbed by any wind or curious animals.You can use 4 or 8 batteries if you want so i tried with 8 and it lastes about 3 or 4 days. Need a Lithium rechargeable one. This is not worth 80 bucks.
