Just what I needed!
Worked as described.

The brass plated knob I received in August 2022 was removable.
I used small needle nose plies to hold the plastic stem below the knob and unscrewed the knob. It has a 10-32 thread. I did this so I could grind down the diameter of the knob to fit the inside diameter of a vintage porcelain knob of a light fixture I was restoring.

IF IT WOULD FIT ON MY POLE LAMP
I USED THIS SWITCH TO REPLACE THE ONE THAT WENT BAD ON MY POLE LAMP !!!!!!

Removable knob will not come off.
Removable knob won't pull off, pry off, or twist off. Since I purchased the switch to use on an antique lamp, it will not work as expected. If anyone can help, I'd be grateful enough to pump it up to 5 stars!NOTE: Product was changed, seller contacted me, was very apologetic and offered a full refund. This is why we love Amazon! Thank you!
