I use this iPad Air mainly for reading and curating digital music in forScore. The large size and backlighting make it easy to read, even for those of us with presbyopia. As an added bonus, I enjoy watching YouTube videos on a screen larger than my phone. The battery life is excellent, particularly when I turn off WiFi (not needed in forScore).

Like nearly every Apple product this one works as advertised. Although, I don't like the placement of the fingerprint reader. It's now been placed on the power button and pressing too hard just blacks out your screen. Can be frustrating when trying to use the fingerprint reader.

The larger screen makes a huge difference for reading, drawing, and watching videos. The battery life is excellent. I multitask frequently—splitting screens between several apps and everything still runs smooth and fast. If you want an iPad that can keep up with demanding tasks while staying light and affordable (compared to the Pro line), this is the one to get. Absolutely worth the upgrade!

Works best when used in your home or office. It’s fairly heavy and bulky if you do quite a lot of traveling and it would probably be best to also have another smaller one for that. The large screen is wonderful to work with or for streaming video.

Amazing qualtiy!! Best for writing notes and getting school work done. Can do so many things at once because of the big screen. It is a little heavier than the regular 11in ipad but I have no regrets buying this ipad. It is definitely a lot lighter than the macbook air, and because the screen is so big, most times I just take my ipad to school instead of my computer. It is so convenient and also great to watch movies as well. The batter life goes long. I use it a lot, but I dont charge for liek 3 days. SOOO WORTH THE MONEY. And it looks so aesthetic, I look good when I study with it hehehe. i got the gold color and it literally goes with everything. If you're thinking about it, GET IT!

Overall, I love this tablet. I debated between the 13" and the 11" and went with the 13" because I'm getting older and my eyesight is not as good as it once was (need cataract surgery soon). A bigger screen sounded good and I thought 11" wasn't much of an upgrade from my old tablet, and the price wasn't that much more than the 11" - enough to make me think twice, but I thought it would be worth it. I thought 11" might be enough, but 13" would be a sort of insurance for the future as my eyes get worse. But ... 13" is too bulky. I should have gone with 11". It's uncomfortable to hold or situate on my lap. And somewhat awkward for travel (plane, car).

Was worried about ordering electronics off of Amazon. It came packaged very securely and on time, which was good to see so it didn’t sit outside on porch! Gave to daughter for college. She loves it. Uses it for all the fun stuff people say you can. Bought a laptop at beginning of school-should have just waited for this. So much more worth it and more usable in class. She also uses it for kindle ebooks and as her tv in dorm room.
