I wanted to send it back!
I recently got my hands on the Motoeye, and wow, it has totally blown me away! The design is sleek, and the performance is impressive—everything about it feels high-quality. It’s super easy to use, which is great whether you’re an experienced rider or just starting out.But what really made my experience stand out was the awesome customer service I got. I chatted with a rep named XieHui, and they were fantastic! Super knowledgeable and really took the time to answer all my questions. Their help made my whole experience even better.Oh, and I also bought another HUD for my other helmet and some extras to fit another one too. Overall, I can’t recommend the Motoeye enough! It’s a great product with amazing support. If you're thinking about getting one, go for it—you won’t regret it! Big thanks to XieHui for all the help!

Not intuitive and has misses
The media could not be loaded. Was hoping this would be a good substitute for a French made HUD, which, non surprisingly, was most likely stolen tech from the A10 program since the French suck at durability engineering. THIS seems to be more sturdy, BUT, requires magic stones, a pointy hat, a sacrifice, and secret incantations to figure out. It is NOT plug and play. Once most of what I needed was decoded and functioning , one big HUGE miss was that the voice commands only work if you press the remote button. That sucks at any road speed. The voice recognition only recognizes me about 70% of the time. Shouting helps sometimes . Even that French "Eye Lights/Rider" device had much better voice recognition. Also, the French one doesn't need me to press a button .. I just gave it a voice command and "Voila!". Another miss. The rear camera is great but there is no front camera. You have to buy it separately. The rear camera is good for backing but that's it. Also, strange, but true; the sound for music is great but talking and listening on the phone is impossible! The volume is too low AND everything is static filled both ways. Another miss is the mounting hardware. It doesn't not fit anywhere on my Road King. I had to jury rig it with electrical tape to the handlebar left grip area. The mounting hardware are two pieces of stainless steel that are screwed together. Messed up to have to tape something to my pretty shiney bike. Overall, I rate it with my personal POS thumbs down. Still looking for something more functional and more integrated with a much better human interface and.... Better durability.

Worth every penny and more!
This thing is priced fairly and reasonably for what it can do. It is a game changer! Just the mesh capability alone can run $300 on a single stand-alone unit, so the price is very fair. I bought it for the rearview capability only, but got so much more. I use it when I ride my EUC (V14). The camera and viewer are impressive as far as resolution. I can't see the pixels!! There is a custom setting for just about everything in the app. I like that it is wired because that direct connection to video and display has no lag. I haven't tested the sound from the speaker as of this review, but I can use Bluetooth from my phone on the different speakers I already have installed in my helmet.Overall, it is an impressive device especially as the company's first version. I'm a gadget freak, so it takes a lot to impress me. And I am impressed! If you think it's over priced, you will change your mind once you see what it can do just lime I did. It does what I hoped for and more than what I imagined. Even if you think it should be priced at $300, the safety it will provide me is worth paying twice that! The extra awareness behind me will reduce the chance of accidents which can cost 10 times more in medical fees.Just get it and you will agree with everything I wrote here.

Great to see behind me but the rest falls short
Real Rider Review — Great Concept, Poor Execution (for Now)As a long-distance rider who puts down serious miles, I was really excited for this system — but overall, it’s been a letdown.First, the advertising makes it look like the display projects onto your visor, similar to a HUD on a car windshield. It doesn’t. It’s actually a small, bright, and clear viewfinder — but you can’t see through it. I had to position it high up inside my helmet where it acts more like a rearview mirror. Anywhere lower and it sits directly in my line of sight, which is distracting. The rear camera is the best part, and the main reason I gave it three stars instead of one. Being able to see behind me on the road is a huge plus. That said, reliability is a big issue. It only powers on about three out of five times, even after being fully charged. Sometimes it randomly boots up an hour into a ride. The software offers great features on paper, but it’s even less reliable than the hardware. Apple CarPlay is awesome — when it actually connects (which has only happened twice). As for the speakers, they’re solid for phone calls (clear on both ends), but music quality is nothing to write home about. I expected average sound, and that’s exactly what I got.Bottom line: If everything worked consistently, this would be a fantastic system at a fair price. But right now, it feels like I paid a few hundred dollars for a rearview camera with Bluetooth. I’m hopeful future updates will fix these problems, but for now, I’d recommend waiting.Pros:• Rear camera greatly improves awareness• Clear phone calls• Promising features if they worked reliablyCons:• Unreliable startup• Poor software stability• Music quality is average• Misleading marketing about display projection
