Purchasing the cord with the larger carrying case is a must. The cord and buds don't fit in the smaller case. I bought the cord the day after it slipped from my hand and into the dirt. Luckily for me, it didn't disappear between the seats. Now they are secure, and I can pop them in and out as needed.

The connector cord works great if you use common sense. Fold the top flange down and put the connector cord on with the contour following the contour of the ear plug. Then fold the top flange back into place. The smaller size Eargasms still seat perfectly into my ears. If you aren't actually wearing the earplugs in your ears, secure them somehow. This product is not designed to be left dangling around your neck while you ride down the road on your motorcycle. Any earplugs and connectors are likely to get lost if you do that! LOL. The Eargasms fit back into the original case just fine without a struggle. Just wrap the cord around 1 or 2 fingers and stuff everything into the little case.

Love the strap and the ear plugs. I’m a dentist and use them to block out the high pitched sounds from my instruments. Can still carry on a conversation with assistants and patients no problems. Strap is long enough and it doesn’t impinge on the ear plugs function. Recommend these to everyone

Keeps them in place and easy to remove fast

I purchased this cord and the corresponding Eargasm High Fidelity Earplug Shells - Small Shells for Noise Reduction Ear-Plugs and used them at Metallica last weekend in Minneapolis. This cord keeps them connected and ensures when you are jumping (headbanging) or even chewing gum, your ear doesn't move in such a way that it falls out and gets lost on the floor. If the earplug falls out, it will remain connected to this cord and simply be draped across your chest.Get the earplugs and this cord and put them in your clear venue bag so that you always know where to find them.

This should be $5 max. For $13 I expected something much more heavy duty. This is basically a fancy rubber band.

I bought this to go with my Loop Quiet earplugs at night while I sleep. I suggest wearing it in front and not around the back of your head. You will pick up scratching and movement through the cord into the earplugs otherwise. I haven't lost an earplugs since using these! Such and easy and simple solution to losing earplugs at night!
