Caseology Parallax for Galaxy S9 Case (2018) - Award Winning Design - Deep Blue

Good product

You buy this awesome $800 phone and unless you are filthy rich, you want to protect it. But, putting a gigantic box around this slim beautiful S9 seems immoral. The Parallax case works great: Just enough to protect well yet not enough to lose the look of the phone. The case edges at top and bottom are higher than the screen so even dropping it flat on a surface, the screen is protected. The edges of the case angle away from the screen to allow the curve to be seen and accessed. I have dropped it a couple of times and no problems.Finding a case and a screen protector that work together is a pain. To work, the case and the screen protector have to agree who is going to cover the curved sides.After one failed attempt, I purchased a Caseology Galaxy S9 Glass Screen Protector recommended by Caseology and it perfectly coordinates with the case. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079F9YLHT/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)I used the sticky side of my previous screen protector to get all the dust off the phone and got the best bubble free glass overlay yet. The screen protector stops just before the case (comes with a fixture to make sure the glass is placed in the right spot). It wraps slightly to cover the curved edges but stops a couple thousandths before the case. I made the setting changes suggested and have no trouble with touch responsiveness. If you install them the way they tell you, this case screen protector combination is awesome.

I got it for my S9 because I am not a super big fan of the wrap-around glass and wanted some protection. Between this and a film cover, I've dropped it a few times, but short of dropping a hammer directly on the screen, I think it's pretty safe. The odds that it will fall in a way that the screen is directly hit are pretty low - the case edge is almost always going to take the brunt of the impact so it works well.It's also really low-profile, so it didn't turn my mid-size phone into a house brick like so many other cases do.I think the best part, though, is that the buttons are attached with a silicone membrane, which is easy to cut with an Xacto knife... so the first thing I did was completely remove the case's button for THAT *&^%ING STUPID ^%$#ING BIXBY FEATURE. It's now completely impossible for me accidentally or even intentionally to activate Bixby (which I would completely remove if it was possible), so thanks a ton, Caseology!

Love the fit, easy to install. Have had it a few days and definitely gives a better grip. It feels substantial without being bulky. The S9 edge is a bit slippery, so a case is a must. I love this brand, have purchased cases for older phones. Only downside is color selection. The photo shows a metallic blue, fairly bright, in reality is more gunmetal blue. All together it just looks mostly black :( My hubby will be upgrading soon, so I will pass this on to him, as it's a manly case too. I may go for purple instead. Durable case tho, phone buttons are responsive. Everything is as advertised.....well I haven't dropped it yet and don't feel like a test drop. Not as durable as I thought. Have not dropped my phone in months, pulled it out of my pocket and the edge of the casing was cracked...on the corner. ( see photos) This case is no longer protective and I have had it just under a year. I do like the company and have had other cases from them. I just purchased a new one, different style. Fingers crossed it lasts longer

I love the case and the look. I added a screen protector (one of the liquid adhesive) which makes it thin.The lip to protect the screen from hitting the ground is satisfying to me. From the pictures on of the item, it's not well represented in my opinion. I took a chance and I am glad I did.The phone has fallen several times ( I am clumsy) and so far so good.The reason I took out a star is because after 2 weeks on the phone, when I took of the case, a lot of little particles have accumulated and could start scratching the sides of the phone as they rest in there. I am now aware, so I will be cleaning it out more often, but it's not protecting the phone.This said, it didn't scratch my phone because I still have the plastic on it.

Bought this to replace same model that broke after dropping. The phone is protected very well. The fit is very good and does not appreciably increase the size of the iPhone.

This is a good sturdy case and excellent surface for sure gripping, which is what I wanted since the S9 is slicker than ice in my hands. The big drawback is that it's a thick case at the bottom and that prevents me from inserting the plug of my earbuds into it all the way. I'm using the "L" shaped jack and I suppose a straight jack would be able to be inserted fully.No problems with taking pictures. The case opening for the camera is flared out but still offers protection. The case covers up the sim card tray but how often do you really need to access that anyway?

I really like the parallax series of cases from Caseology. I had one protecting my previous phone (iPhone 7). So as soon as I got a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S9) the first accessorie I purchased was a, you guessed it a parallax series case from Caseology. Anyone who owns an S9 knows it's a slippery little bugger but this case solves that and looks damn good doing it too. I really like the dimpeles on the back of the case because there are like little divots for your fingers. Which makes the phone very easy to hold and gives me a sense of security while holding my expensive and fragile new device. I also really like how there is a guide for your finger just under the fingerprint sensor which makes it really easy to find and use.

Bei dem Preis hatte ich schon befürchtet, dass ich irgendein grässliches Plastikteil mit dünnen Gummiecken erhalte. Jedoch weit gefehlt: Das Case sitzt stramm auf dem S9 (es lässt sich aber gut herauf stülpen und auch wieder ab), ist sehr gut verarbeitet, hat ausreichend dicke Ecken (die das Gerät gegen Sturz ausreichend schützen), ist vorne leicht erhaben (so dass das Gerät nicht auf dem Display liegt, sollte man es einmal verkehrt herum auf den Tisch legen - oder aber es stürzt auf die Displayseite, so dass es gut geschützt ist) und die Rückseite (das gaben die Fotos bei Amazon nicht so leicht her) ist durch die Waben-ähnlichen Vertiefungen gut strukturiert, so dass man mit den Fingern mehr Grip hat. Außerdem fühlt sich die Rückseite etwas rau an, aber nicht unangenehm billig/kratzig sondern fast wie Leder oder wie ein sog. "Rubber-Coated" Produkt. Es ist jedoch kein "Rubber-Coated" und das ist auch gut so, denn eine Gummierung löst bei mir erfahrungsgemäß schnell ab. Das Aalglatte, zerbrechlich aussehende und für meine Augen ziemlich langweilige S9 wirkt anschließend deutlich kerniger und man hat etwas in der Hand, ohne dauernd Angst haben zu müssen, dass einem der schwarze Samsung-Glaskolben aus der Hand flutscht. Das Design ist gelungen und das Case verleiht dem fragilem S9 nun die nötige Robustheit zum günstigen Preis. Einziger Minuspunkt: Ich habe das Gerät in Black / Deep Blue bestellt. Das Blau wirkt aber auf den Fotos hier bei Amazon deutlich frischer, als das gelieferte, eher dezent-elegant anmutende "Anzug-metallic-blau/grau". Damit kann ich aber gut leben, war aber etwas überrascht. Zudem finde ich nun mit dem Finger viel schneller den Fingerabdruckscanner, da die richtige Stelle nun viel besser ertastbar ist und ich somit weniger auf der Kameralinse herumfingere...

This is my second time using the Caseology parallax case. First time the plastic bit around the case broke after a year of use. The design seems to have been updated and it's now an integrated piece instead of two separate pieces, which I think makes a big difference. As someone who is clumsy, my phone has fallen a lot of times. The case is sturdy and its raised edges protect my phone from damages. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this product.

Great looking case!!! But...not that slim. Fits great, I am a big fan of Caseology , but to showcase the beauty of SG S9 , Spiegen created a super slim tray like case that I love. Less protection for sure, but this tray takes perfect contour of my phone, with little less protection. One more time this case is not that slim, but offers more protection for your 1050 dollars phone. You decide!! For max protection you will still need a glass or plastic on top of screen. If anyone from Caseology reads this review please let me know if you have a super slim case and I'm yours.

Musste leider schon ein paar Falltests überstehen! 100% ohne Schaden am Gerät und nicht mal groß am Rahmen sichtbar! Das Caseology Case ist somit sehr robust und hält was es verspricht!Wichtig zu wissen: Dieses Case besteht aus 2 Teilen! Genau so empfehle ich es auch schon seit Jahren! Außen hat es einen (relativ) harten Schutzrahmen und danach kommt dann die weiche Schutzschicht, die auch den Rücken, des Smartphones, schützt!Zudem fühlt sich das Case sehr gut an und es sieht sehr edel aus! Es passen unsere Schutzgläser und Schutzfolien zu 100% darauf. Sehr gut! Es ist übrigens unser 2. Dual-Case von Caseology, da auch das erste sehr gut ist (anderes Smartphone-Modell)...Kaufempfehlung: 100% !

You cant reach the pulse oximeter with this case on! And will push off cheap china glass protector.Product had some oily markings on it upon unpackaging, may have been toucjed before but otherwise satosfied with this very sturdy case. Its a bit bulky but that is a consequence of the sturdiness.More slippery than expected, but yuu quckly learn to grip it securely.
