Best taste
Good Quality Tuna, best I've ever had, good big chunks, good tasting no funkyness to it. Puts others to shame.

Taste and texture excellent
Excellent taste and texture good price. Not my first choice but definitely better than the popular typical brands on the market. My first choice is almost twice the price so I'm certainly not going to complain about it. I won't advertise my first choice in this review but just as a comparison for people who might be familiar with it, it's also yellow fin but it comes in a red and blue can. This tuna is a fairly good comparison and about 30% less expensive. When I can't get my first choice this will be my go to definitely.

Taste!!!
Probably the best tuna ever. We stopped buying tuna years ago because it became just awful. After reading several reviews here I decided to order. Happy I made the purchase. This tuna is the very best ever.

This is Tuna!
I opened the first of six cans of this oil packed tuna for my dinner tonight. I never do this with store bought tuna, but I wanted to see if it tasted as good as people say it does, so I tasted a chunk right out of the can. Well, I could have just eaten the whole can right there with a fork. This is one of the best tunas I have ever eaten! First off it's chunks of tuna, not tuna flakes, the flavor is tuna, and it's really ready to eat. I will be using this brand of tuna from now on, and the 6-pak from Amazon is the best buy I've seen. Try it. If you like tuna but are tired or tuna mush in a can from the grocery, this is the brand for you. It's really good!

Very Good Tuna
This tuna is delicious—one of my favorites in terms of flavor and value. The only issue is that every time I order canned items, some cans arrive dented. While I get refunded for damaged items, it’s frustrating that this keeps happening (three or four times now, especially with dented rims). Since I consume a lot of tuna year-round, I’ll keep buying it- but I really wish they’d handle the cans with more care.

Best tuna, but incorrectly labeled can!
Genova tuna packed in olive oil is the only canned tuna I will consume. Unfortunately, the last case I purchased was packed in water, even though the label said "packed in olive oil." The folks at Amazon courteously refunded my money, and did not ask me to return the remaining cans in the case. I donated them to the local food pantry. Thank you, Amazon. I will re-purchase Genova Tuna packed in olive oil in the future.

Overall Taste
I didn’t want to purchase another tuna packed in water. I decided to give this Yellow Fin Tuna a try and I’m glad I did. It was not packed in an excessive amount of oil. The flavor to me was delicious. I liked that you don’t need a can opener to open. I washed the top off and placed the tuna in my salad. It was scrum delicious. This tuna is a keeper. My new love.

Way better than Starkist
Back when I used to eat carcasses, the popular brand tuna was the brand that everyone used, but now I would say that they've destroyed themselves. I'm buying the canned fish carcasses now for my outside cats, because the dry catfood is based off of corn, and cats are carnivores, not omnivores, so I can't even imagine what damage they suffer for this. This Genova brand is so much better than the popular one. For one, the popular cans have an adhesive on the bottom to help the cans stay stacked, and yet I got several dented cans, indicating that they were handled improperly and then sold, which is unethical and perhaps unlawful. For another, the Genova cans have the pull tab, which is much better than using the can opener, which is the case with the popular company. But most of all, the way the carcasses are presented is better. The Genova carcasses are packed tightly, as they should be, period. I chose the olive oil variety since I figured that olive oil would be better for the cats instead of just the broth. But the oil variety of the popular company was just bad, the carcasses were just floating and "stewy", with the water mixed in, but very loose. The Genova carcasses were tightly packed in with the oil and I didn't even have to think about the added water, because it was just not an issue. The Genova carcasses are the real deal, and so if you are interested in tuna carcasses for any reason, this company is the way to go.
