Update - the smell did dissapear and i was able to unclude them in the goody bags, it took maybe 4 days.‐----------------I got these to put in goody bags for my kid's 1st grade class. They are a great value, bright colors. Inflated one to try and seem to be great. However, they have that STRONG latex/rubber smell that slaps you in the face as soon as you open the package. No way i can put that into goody bags as is as they will make each goody bag smell as well and i know the kids(or parents) won't appreciate that.. as in it literally smells like a tire. I personally wouldn't appreciate my kid getting anything that smells like this. I'm very fortunate that i have about a week left before passing out the goody bags so i have time to air them out as i plan to do. I'm going to leave them hanging near an AC vent for a couple of nights and see if the smell goes away. If not, unfortunately i will have to return and get something w/o this level of smell. If the smell does go away i will update.

Opened the bag and immediately smelled heavy chemicals. Left out for a few hours to hopefully offgas, but did not make any difference. I could not, in good conscience, allow children to play with this. DO NOT BUY.

Used in goodie bags at my son's birthday party. They were a bit thin and popped more easily than others we've had in the past. The graphic was nice and the kids were happy.

Returned, very old and unusable.

Horrific chemical smell that stunk up the whole house. Had to throw away.
