Solid upgrade
I used this and a wooden knob to improve the aesthetic of my gaggia classic, and it's been wonderful, so much nicer to enjoy every day when I make coffee. The handle is a bit longer than factory which hasn't been a problem, but is tighter because my machine is flush to the left against a wall. The basket holds it's volume a bit differently, so I had to adjust my dose down from 18g to about 15g to allow for room at the top.

Fits the Gaggia Pro very well
This fits the Pro like it was made for it. Using a bottomless portafilter gives me the opportunity to see what’s going on in the puck when I pull my shots, which allows me the chance to modify as needed to make better espresso. No problem sealing, leaking or not fitting. Very nice, economical product.

Solid construction, but doesn't fit snugly to machine.
The two prongs that connect the portafilter to the grouphead are to small, so the portafilter rotates all the way around and is too loose to create a consistent seal. If they could fix that (very important) issue, then it would be a quality product.

does not fit some baskets
i ordered a "big bang" 22 gram precision basket and this will not fit due to the ridge inside/ works fine with smaller baskets

Thick and chunky! Won't bend like other thin ones
I previously bought a different one that was thin around the bottom where the handle is attached and it ended up bending into an oblong circle after time. This one is very thick all around the bottom area. I don't see this one doing that. The wood handle is nice and also very thick. It fits in my machine great (another thing the previous one didn't do). Very happy with this portafilter.
