A lovely companion with quality sound

Very good dolby sound.. sometimes disconnect automatically…

Upside:- Decent sound quality, not quite Hi-Fi, but pretty close. Certainly good enough for hi-res TIDAL audio to be worthwhile.- Plenty of volume, fills a large room or outdoor space with plenty to spare.- Even at high volumes the sound remains clear without distorting.- Good spacial sound, especially with Dolby Atmos.- Good bass- Wifi streaming performs very well. With airplay available and also In-App support for some streaming services (notably Tidal)- Rugged build, outdoor proof. Certainly can take anywhere.Downside:- Maybe a shade over priced.- Limited by no native support for apple music in the JBL app.

The speaker in general is very good. If you’re looking for something to turn people’s heads at a party or out camping, this is it. Took it away to a festival, did not disappoint with how long it lasted or how it sounded. Turning the bass up will blow people away… Only two downsides that I feel which can’t really be helped are the weight but I can get over that. The other being charging this monster speaker needs a lot of juice, no power bank will charge this. We had to find a vendor on the festival site and pay them to charge it for us.Id rate the speaker 8.3/10

To turn the bass up or down requires an active Wi-Fi connection, this made it unusable where I was stuck with one setting. Needs to be more user friendly and controllable, need to be able to control the EQ via Bluetooth
