We love this speaker. Our friend has one, too, and we can link them. The added microphone is nice, too, if you need a PA system.

this speaker was an accidental buy. I was only searching when I ordered this. But thankfully my son had this speaker and both my boyfriend and I wanted a speaker so while he plays his guitar we can both sing together. Such a hit in my home I have to order another so my kids can have one.

Great overall and all around. To me, the only thing I didn't like is I felt it's casing was not properly addressed as it was meant to be an on-the-go device. It's really too nice in this instance, and I know I would scratch and ding it with the usual uses. Leather backing, I know I'd have that scratched or torn within the it's first runs. It's another great device from jbl but it's not a true travel item. Also, it lacks features that other portable bt speakers offer. For just a bt and aux pickup and so-so karaoke machine...... They could do well with connectivity to all jbl devices and perhaps emergency power or nws, fm /am radio. I ended up returning it.
