I took a chance and bought these Turkish beach towels when they had no reviews. I'm so glad I did. I would definitely buy them again.I needed a lot of these for high school grad gifts and the 12 pack is a good buy. The quality and workmanship is very good. Each towel was individually bagged and neatly folded. NO factory or unpleasant smell. The medium blue color is attractive and the white is true, not dingy. They washed up well and really softened after 2 washes and machine drying. No loose hems or fringe. The only real con is the fringe. It is well knotted but otherwise unfinished so I expect it will be pretty rough looking after a few trips through a dorm washer. I doubt college kids will care. If it will bother you pay more for twisted fringe.Here's my method for softening the towels:I did an overnite soak 3 towels at a time in cold water on the hand wash cycle. Fill the tub as full as you can with a small drizzle of the blue grease cutting brand of dishsoap. There are lubricants in the looms that need to be removed. After 12 hour soak run the rest of the cycle making sure to put 1 cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle.I then ran a second hand wash cycle on cold with a small amount of free and clear laundry detergent and another cup of vinegar in the rinse.Shake the towels out well to straighten out the fringe. Machine dry on medium. They don't take long to dry!I personalized each towel with a small monogram on the lower front and also put a grograin ribbon hanging loop in the center of one long edge. I never saw a kid voluntarily hang his towel but I'm an optimist. LOLThe towels softened well after this treatment and I believe they will continue to get softer. Recommended!

Love the product! I actually bought these as decoration for my daughter’s “Mamma Mia” themed birthday. Used them as table covers, with everyone being given them as gifts at the end. Word of warning, on the first few washing’s, 1) wash alone and more then once. 2) if you use a dryer, they give off a ton of fuzz!

We put together a beach yoga class for a bachelorette party and these were the perfect towels to use!! They are adorable, soft, and the girls loved being able to take one home with them. They shook off sand so easily and I will use mine each time I go to the beach now.

I was not sure what to expect, but they work pretty great, look and feel good. Maybe they could absorb a bit more but that is fine for what we need.

These were perfect for my sister bachelorette party!

This is perfect to buy as a bundle to store near the hot tub. They are a little thin but easy to throw in a hamper to have to wash them weekly without taking up much room.
