My cats love this product! They look forward to this treat every evening when I get it out of the freezer. It’s healthy for them too and that’s what matters most of all. Very happy! Make sure to feed them as instructed, even if they beg for more (and they will). Too many and it might hurt your cat’s stomach. It seemed to with my sensitive boy so definitely ease into a raw diet if it’s new to your babies. It’s hard to keep track of the amount of pieces they receive since the pieces are different sizes. If you think you need to stop, it’s good to go ahead. You might cut them beforehand to make them even so that isn’t an issue. Overall, good quality, good company, good protein for my kitties. I bought the bison liver and it lasted about 2 weeks for 2 cats. I also bought the chicken breast and just opened the pack tonight. The cats already love it! Another bison liver arrived in the mail today too. Very happy cat mom! Thank you :)

My dog loved them. I am always on the lookout for single-ingredient treats for my dog and I recently heard that mussels were a great treat. My dog loved them. The only thing is that some of them can crumble a bit in transit BUT we use the broken pieces as part of her meal topper. The majority of the mussels were intact. Will definitely be buying it again

I can't possible give it five stars for scent...because it smells disgusting! OK....changed the three to five because it cat loves the scent. Afterall, this isn't for me! I was purchasing another brand, which was becoming more and more difficult to find at a decent price, since Mollie only likes whitefish. Hesitant to try a different brand, but I did so anyway and so glad I did. She LOVES!!! The quality is awesome. Value is awesome. And the sizes are nice big chunks....I was challenged in this area with the previous brand as I would receive a few decent chunks, but mostly very small and lots of dust.10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this brand!

These fish have been great up until the recent bag I got, it smelled a lot more 'bleachy' is the best way I can describe it and my cat refused to eat them. She normally scarfs them down and hadn't had them in a while. I serve her 1 for breakfast every morning and she left the full fish on her plate 5 days in a row, refused to eat it. I kind of tricked her into eating one today by putting it in her puzzle, she enjoyed the challenge and forgot her suspisions. The aftermath is in the photos, she threw it up on my freshly washed comfortor. As a poor with no washer and dryer available, I'm opting to throw the whole blanket away so I don't have to spend another 3 hours at my friends house adjusting a blanket in a stinky washer. her punishment was this photo, she hates being on camera. it could just be a freak unrelated accident, I'm not a cat doctor, but the smell from the bag when I first opened it was different than the previous 20 bags I had ordered that were perfect, so I figured I'd report that here and show y'all the insides. I love these for both my cats and dog! They seem to enjoy them sooo much! Will buy again. Came super quickly! Also, it’s fun to spice up your animals meals so just buy them! Little smelly but that’s to be expected lol

I was very disappointed in this leading brand freeze-dried chicken for dogs and cats. The meat was hard as a rock, and even when I tried to hydrate it (which I always try to do to prevent cystitis, especially in my male cat) the chicken retained its hardness and became, for lack of a better term, like wet straw. My boy tasted one piece and was disgusted; he scurried away from his bowl. A dog might eat these pieces, but Indo not believe the quality is acceptable for a cat. Some of the pieces are huge, too - okay for a dog, but not for a kitty. Even when I tried to cut off each hard side of the chicken, the meat either crumbled into a pile of powder, or it simply was hard all the way through. Northwest Naturals is a reputable brand. I am beginning to conclude, after buying freeze-dried meat for quite a few years, that storage and spoilage on trucks, especially during hot and humid weather, may be issues contributing to the meat's demise. Freeze-dried food for pets, at least, should be stored and kept cool, dry, and away from direct light. Something tells me there is a breakdown in proper shipping, handling, and storage of these products because our receipt of unacceptably hard and stale meat happens time and time again. Will not purchase this product again.

I bought a bag of the shrimp. I could smell them before I opened them. I offered one to the cat and it turned up its nose and ran away. I gave it 3 stars because maybe a dog would like them, although they seem like pretty pricey treats for a dog. I'm going to double zip-lok my shrimp and see if my cat like them later. If not, I'm going to have to throw them out because of the strong smell, which reminds me of the smell of liquid fly attractants, and that's REALLY bad.
