Great starter book for children.

Bought at piano teachers request. Found it useful

Ministeps to Music Phase 2 follows on from Phase 1 in a systematic progression. But please change the pictures! They are so infantile.... Modernize this excellent resource please! Then older beginners will also be able to use it.

got books 123 now son loves them doing well and got extra help at school now well worth the money for beginners

This series of Phases 1 to 4 books is great for absolute beginners. It moves systematically from one step to the next without going too quickly and introduces two hands in the early stages for a more satisfying play. You need to ignore very American styled dated middle class themes/ pictures. If it was reprinted to match the current day and it would be a real hit I believe. I have used it to teach the piano with very favourable results alongside the Dozen a Day exercise books and Pianotime thrown in!
