I get such painful hiccups, and they can last over an hour. They are so loud it’s embarrassing, especially in public. Finally got to try this out this morning when the hiccups got really painful, and it immediately got rid of them. I 100000% recommend getting this if you are like me!

I get hiccups really frequently and was excited to try this. It does nothing. Didn’t help at all.

The product arrived in a paper box and a plastic bag. It had a greasy fingerprint on the plastic which I guess is from the workers who packed or did the molding. Unfortunately, this straw is a copycat from the original American-made HiccAway, a shark Tank product. The design of the original HiccAway is very precise and meticulously calculated based on Neuroscience and Biomechanics. However, this Chinese copy is not made based on accurate calculations but is made from cheap material and a wrong-size pressure valve. Please ensure that if you are looking for the famous Shark Tank product, this item is not the original well-known HiccAway. We did try this straw on multiple occasions on my children and on my siblings, and it didn't work. But we have tried the original HiccAway, and it stops hiccups like a charm. So I am not sure if the design is different or if the valve is not functional in this one.
