We have this in our basement with a hitting/pitching tarp on it. My daughter pitches from around 20 ft away. The tarp slows the pitch down and the wide mouth net catches the ball. The net base itself does not move. Very sturdy. The wide net is ideal for pitching since it catches any errant throws. We have not tried hitting into it yet. So far so good.

2nd net I purchased, 1st one lasted about 4 years with with son hitting off the tee several times a week.

Build QualityThe frame is well made, durable and high quality. The flexible poles are quite resilient and flex instead of bending making the product more durable overall. The net is durable nylon and a tight enough weave to catch balls safely. A high quality bag is also included that is perfect for storage of the net.Use:The net sets up in just a few minutes and can be setup by one person although two is helpful. The net catches ball well with very well and they are easy to collect at the end.. It is appropriate for both pitching backstop as well as batting practice.Final thoughts:This is fine baseball net that I highly recommend. it is easy to assemble, portable, and is sturdy and effective.

The elastic on the net already broke. Just assembled it last Friday and noticed this morning (Monday) the elastic band at the bottom already broke. Disappointed.

I love this net. I really appreciate that the entire surface is able to catch the ball instead of just a 3 foot by 3 foot mouth. When hitting or pitching the ball doesn’t have to land in the middle of the net for it to be caught. This allows for miss hits and throwing mistakes to happen without having the ball pushed back toward the player. It’s usually not a safety issue to have the ball pushed back, it’s just annoying.The net has held up the last month or so with no issues. Easy to setup and take down. Nice build quality

I bought this net and it was missing one of the tube inserts for the upright poles. It said to contact PowerNet for customers support. I tried their online process for customer support. I filled out all my information on their site and when I go to log into won’t let me because it says my password is wrong. Tried again and copied my password again only to get same result. I called the customer service line where all you can do is leave a message to have them call you back. I have done this multiple times and no one calls me back. Very frustrated with their customer service. I have two other PowerNets and have liked their products, but after dealing with this lack of customer service I won’t buy from them again. I reluctantly have found the part for $2.75 on their site and have to pay $5.11 for shipping to get my net usable. Not happy!
