The display is clear, bright, and easy to read, and the non-contact voltage function is a lifesaver for safely checking wires. It feels sturdy, well-made, and comes with everything I need, including probes and a handy carrying case. I’ve used it for simple home projects like checking outlets and troubleshooting battery-powered devices, and it works flawlessly every time. This is a great meter. I needed a smaller sized meter to make voltage measurements, continuity checks, etc. around the house and this one is perfect. Also, TenMen proved to be a very responsive company when I had a small issue with one of the test leads (it seemed to be intermittent), so I emailed them and got a reply in less than 24 hours. They weren't able to ship me just a replacement set of leads, but they offered me a partial refund so I could pick up a new set of leads on Amazon. The refund happened very quickly as well. I'm very happy with both the meter and the company. I wish more vendors were this good to work with!

My brother had purchased thisMulti-Meter, and based on his praise of it, I decided to purchase one as well. I believe that it should provide faithful service for many years to come.

Works well. As advertised, it is automatic which is nice and great for beginners, however there is no option to change to a manual mode if you're looking for thatThis has an audible continuity tone/beep even though it wasn't advertised.Easy to use and cheap.

Like everything about this unit. However, a positive suggestion to the manufacturer's package design engineer is to shrink the size of the included User Manual such that it will fit into the included zipper hard case that holds the unit and included cables.I removed the languages that I don't speak, trimmed down the page sizes and cover and re-glued the spine and it now fits inside the case. Now it is the perfect tool ; )

Just like the title says, this is a great value for your money. if you need a simple to use, I mean very simple to use inexpensive multimeter, this is the one. It's virtually foolproof to use! Anybody who has never even used a multimeter can start using this one from the get-go. All the functions are automatic, AC/DC voltage, resistance and continuity. I've used it to check voltages around the house and it's performed flawlessly. I haven't yet checked resistance as I'm not a power user to have resistors laying around. It also has a feature to check electric plugs/wires to see if they are live wirelessly, it has a backlit display and a very small LED flashlight. To be honest the flashlight is super dim, but hey! It's better than nothing I suppose. It also has nice build quality and like I said, it's a very good basic foolproof household multimeter.It was very nice also that it came with genuine copper top brand name batteries, a carrying case and a very well-written instruction book that was very detailed and concise in explaining its use. Amazing how fast technology advances as a multimeter like this would have been over $150.00 years ago and so far, I'm very happy with it. And for the price you really can't beat it. And say goodbye to those old-fashioned dial multimeters that were honestly such a pain to use. I highly recommend this Tesmen TM-510.
