These bulbs are fantastic but the app that goes with them is awful. There are minimal directions in the box and the app gives help but you can’t read the answers and walk thru the directions. I have other bulbs (thought I bought all the same brand) that are so much easier to use. I can not figure out a timer but the colors are fun to play with

Amazing bulbs and great lighting in my room! The only issue I have is that the app is very weird. The layout could be a little more user friendly, and the menu options are definitely not easy to navigate. Overall, great lights!

I have bought smart bulbs for EVERY SINGLE light fixture in my room!!!! Why?!… A better question is WHY NOT?!… When you replace a bulb that is bound by ONE COLOR, ONE BRIGHTNESS, and Does NOTHING but turn on and off, with a SMART BULB like these ones, it’s like going from living In black and white, to all of the sudden have color splashed all over your room or house! I mean not only does these bulbs save money In the sense of they can be ANYTHING you want them to be, from a bright white color so you can clean every inch of your room, they can be a soft and cozy yellow to relax and Netflix and chill on your couch, and they can also be set to absolutely crazy party time when you use the app and turn on the setting that makes your SMART bulbs react to the sound of whatever music your listening too!!! So for those three reasons alone, that’s enough to convince me just how “worth it” it is to switch from the boring old traditional bulbs we grew up with, to SMART bulbs that can do almost anything you could imagine when it comes to lighting! Not only that, I bet you, if you go down to your local shopping center, whatever that may be, your gonna look at the smart bulbs they have there, get all excited, and then look at the price and then quietly put them back! Because what they charge in most box stores today is OUTRAGEOUS! I did the research and math, to switch all the bulbs in my room to smart bulbs, I would have had to buy 5 regular bulbs and 3 candelabra bulbs, but they only sell smart bulbs individually or in packs of four for both sizes that I needed! So I would have wound up paying literally almost 100$ more had I not found the LIGHTINGINSIDE store here on AMAZON! Because they sold a wide variety of base types and number of bulbs that you need, I literally saved almost 100$ as compared to what I would have paid by just going to my local Walmart…. Oops, did I say that?! Lol if you don’t believe me, do your homework, you can tell me I was right when you order these bulbs and review them for yourself! WAAAAAIT, I forgot to mention one of the BEST FEATURES THESE BULBS HAVE!!!… They work with your Amazon Alexa products perfectly! So when I get home, I can tell Alexa to turn on my party lights, and just like that I have colors EVERYWHERE going to the beat of my music!…. PEACE!

I'll update this as I use them but the devices have been a life saver since I've been using them the last three days. I have ADHD and my partner is a stickler for turning lights off. It's much easier for me to remember or correct if I can just tell Google to do it for me. Hopefully this helps with our electricity bill. I purchased these as a bit of a last resort since I'm a diehard Govee products fan, but they do not make an E12 lightbulb. Honestly I'm delighted by the quality of these bulbs and if they continue to work without a hitch I may consider other products in this companies line up.I was able to smoothly connect them to the app and subsequently to Google. The grouping devices feature of the app is amazing and also syncs with Google assistant so you can say "turn off the [group name]" and it will recognize it as a device. This is something I've struggled with in other products so I was surprised when it worked smoothly.

These took a while to get set up. The instruction booklet which comes w/the bulbs provides the name of an app...which ended up being incorrect. I had to research the correct app, to get these recognized by Bluetooth, my phone and Echo. Once I did that, they worked out just fine. Now that I've got the correct app, I've repurchased for the ceiling fan in my living room and purchased some bulbs for free standing lamps.

Perfect, set up was easy and flawless, download app, ( I use apple ) create an account, install lights, they will blink initially, while they are paired, and u are good to go. Be sure your wi fi is set to 2.4 ghz.Also I have them paired with Amazon Alexa devices.

These WOULD be a good value for the money, except that they have a TERRIBLE problem with flickering. It seems like it gets worse as they warm up, so if you only run them at one percent brightness, it won’t be AS bad, and you might get a little bit longer before they start flickering. However, if you run them at full brightness, you might be lucky to get even one minute of use out of them before they start flickering, and it’s much more pronounced (i.e, faster flickering). I’m extremely technical, so I know this isn’t a case of user error - they were successfully paired to my phone, and Alexa is able to control them. I went through MULTIPLE attempts to try removing them, resetting them, and re-pairing them, all to no avail. I also had bulbs from two separate packages (four bulbs in total), and all four bulbs have the exact same problem. I’m convinced that this is just a bad product overall.
