Pack of 6 Baby Kids Proofing Safety Finger Pinch Hinge and Door Guard in 3 Color

Bought these for our patio doors. Each door has three hinges, put one of these door guards into each door hinge and they work perfectly. We have used them in blowy weather where their strength has been somewhat tested. They have survived. You must use these in all the hinges of the door you want to keep open. Will happily buy again for other patio doors and would highly recommend.

As a childminder its essential for me to have safety products that work, this doesn't. For a start, they are way too fiddly to insert into a door, secondly they are cheap plastic rubbish that one 18month old managed to snap in half simply by trying to shut the door, which considering this is the whole point of this product, it didn't live up to it intention. I then had to search the floor for little bits of unsafe plastic. Don't waste your money, it can't be trusted.

Decent enough door guards although be aware that you might need to search for a location where the hinge gap between the door and frame is large enough in order to insert the white peg.Keeps the door open fine.But we haven't used them often as our daughter has kept away from the hinge section so far. Might come in handy in the future - once she has her first incident I'm sure we'll use them religiously!Quite garish but cute nonetheless.

They’re okay. Bought them just to stop the little ones jamming their fingers when running in and out of the garden. The adhesive part to secure it to the wall doesn’t work too well, falls off easily. But we found that just putting them on the highest hinge and hooking just over the hinge worked well enough. Might be worth investing in something a little better.

Such a simple idea! They work perfectly.The doors in our home self close and are held open by magnetic door stops, so these are great if our son decides to pull one shut! They close really quickly and I dread to think what would happen without these wedgesJust make sure you remember to use them!

The cap fell off (see image) and my son must have spotted it, immediately racing off to put it in his mouth. Thankfully I seen him do it, but had I not taken notice at his sudden interest, we could have ended the day with a trip to A&E!

It works on only four out of the seven doors that I want to protect. The plastic part that should slip behind the hinge is too thick to fit in the space between door and jam on three of them. I also bought a pack for each of my children (it's their kids that I'm trying to protect when they are at our house, and they would not fit behind any of their doors. If the same product was made available with a metal wire hook instead of plastic, it would probably work much better.

This is a great product. I love the idea when you have a small person with tiny hands and fingers to protect in the house! I am currently using for 2 of my doors and have been very happy with them.
