iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, Repair Tool-Set with 64 Precision bits (4 mm), Magnetic Screwdriver & Opening Tools to Open and Repair Electronic Devices

Having been through the tool kit mill, buying all manner of less expensive things from the likes of Draper, Rolson and, in the case of emergency repairs, the pound shop I decided to splash out on this kit from IFIXIT. Let’s start off by saying I am glad I did, you have all manner of normal and abnormal sized bits that grip securely in to the tool handle with a strong magnet with no worry about them falling out in to or on to the device you are repairing. I found no issues with opening and dismantling an iPhone 7 or an HTC android phone and removing the cooler from a GTX 1080Ti to replace the TIM. All the tools you could realistically need are there including pry tools, several spudgers, tweezers and a suction cup. You even get an antistatic wristband which is a welcome addition that is often left out of repair kits. Also worthy of mention is the way the tools are clearly laid out in a high-quality folding pouch that is securely fastened with a strong Velcro style strip. The screwdriver bit lid is held on with four strong magnets that negate the need for clips or hinges that will break because they always do, enabling the lid to double up as a screw sorter, that design is a genius idea. I can highly recommend this kit for all levels of repair from the home hobby to a repair shop. It isn't cheap, but you are paying for quality as well as intelligent design, in fact after I finish this review I am ordering a second kit to keep in my carry around tool kit. One final point I like about this tool system is the fact that, as and when you need parts because things will wear out or break, you can order top up parts and not have to buy the whole thing again. Good job IFIXIT, I will be looking in to buying more of your products for the workshop in the very near future.

The media could not be loaded. While this may be on the pricier side, iFixit is renowned for their quality toolkits, and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. I frequently find myself using this toolkit to open up my devices for modding, cleaning, and maintenance, as well as for fixing random bits and bobs around the house.The screwdriver features a comfortable and textured grip with a rotating top, allowing you to use it with one hand. The bits that come with the kit are almost perfect, with the only additional bit I would want being a Torx bit for consoles (which is inexpensive to buy separately). The screwdriver also includes a flexible extension for reaching difficult screws. Of course, all the bits are magnetised and of reasonable strength.The included spudgers and picks are ideal for opening devices like phones. When I used them to open a Samsung screen, neither the picks and spudgers nor my phone screen were damaged.My only (minor) issues are that the holder for the picks is flimsy, often causing them to escape and clutter the case, and that the suction cup doesn't have as strong a grip as I would like.Overall, whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this toolkit is a great choice for your needs.

This kit is incredible. iFixIt are well known to be pro-repair, reliable, and trustworthy. One of the tips of the nylon reverse tweezers snapped, and iFixit's EU support had a replacement shipped out to me, no questions asked. If you're not aware, iFixit has a lifetime warranty on their tools - if it breaks, they'll replace it. It's a big factor in why this kit is the one to go for.

One of the best tool kits I own. And one of the more expensive ones.But when tinkering with electronics you can not cheap out , getting tools that will break on first use or will strip the screws, making it incredibly difficult to remove the screws. iFixIt's toolkit will have most( if not all) the bits you will need to get started and repairing some devices.The only complaint is the price might be high, especially when getting started, but this will last you a while and is backed with their lifetime warranty. My favourite feature is their screw bit lid doubles as a organising tray, which as helped with reasonably of my Nintendo switch.If you are just getting started, some cheap tools are still a viable option but I highly recommend there tool kit.

Genuinely cannot stress enough what a good kit this is, not only does it come with everything you could ever possibly need for electronics repair/maintenance. But it also is that high quality I managed to get this stripped screw out of the bottom of my gaming laptop within about 30 seconds (this was originally a Phillips head screw!) And I'd tried literally everything shy of taking my impact driver to it before hand to get it out 😅Can't rate ifixit higher, honestly this is that good I've bought their 1/4 screwdriver set aswell!
