Prior to using this, I was using Voicemeeter Potato to control my audio for streaming and gaming. This is a strong step above that. The build quality of the device is fantastic. It's made of plastic but it feels like a strong plastic. The screen is nice and bright but doesn't glare in your face in a dark room while playing games. The setup could not be any simpler. You install the software, plug the device in, and off you go. The support stare are phenomenal. I reached out to them when I was having an issue and they went above and beyond to help me diagnose the issue (turns out, the issue was my old, dying mic. Replaced the mic and issue is resolved.)As a footnote, this device is not just for streamers! One of the greatest things about this device is being able to have multiple audio channels which makes it a breeze to turn your game down when you want to talk to friends or turn your friends down when they won't shut up during that cutscene (lol).

This is a great mixer, I've only used it for daily applications for now, will update once used for streaming stuff.

I love this. I also have a stream deck. Use them together. While they are similar in some ways and the stream deck can perform almost everything the beacn can, I find myself using the beacon for most of my day to day. Took a hot second to get used to but it's extremely valuable controlling audio on separate channels and using multiple mic setups

I'm no streamer, but I do live video training in calls and video/audio recordings, as well as manage multiple different unique sound sources. This thing has been largely awesome over the past couple months owning it. The only singular issue I've had is that for a couple of days (about three weeks in) when my computer was woken from sleep, the app would freeze rendering the unit stuck. Required a force quit, unplug, and reopen a few times.Then all of a sudden, that issue stopped. And now it's back to pretty much being excellent. If you have any patience for tech in general, and the unit has features you like or could find useful, I'd absolutely recommend it. If you aren't the type who is willing to tinker or has an understanding that tech is temperamental from time to time, maybe make other considerations.

Works Great!

There maybe some learning curve as you obtain new device, but I had this since AUG 2023. I have used this when I had to stream for work and record. I like the simple nobs and able to isolate each application i want from myself or to the audience. Tip Tho! Make sure to save your settings once you finish setting things up. it will be on the left panel under profile click the "floppy disk" if you dont know this kids google it haha for the image

The media could not be loaded. I have never reviewed anything on Amazon but I had to review this. The software is AMAZING! I have not had any issues with it & this mixer is the best streaming I’ve made in my 5 years of streaming on twitch. I have spent a lot of money on my setup over the years but this tops everything. I wish this was around when I purchased my astro a50s with the mix amp because you DO NOT NEED IT! This mixer lets me control EVERY aspect of audio without confusing them & mixing. I’ve tried different softwares in OBS, mix amps, many different output & inputs but this truly does EVERYTHING & makes it so incredibly easy! I love that I can hear everything my audience does with just click of a button so I don’t constantly have to ask if game sound is too loud or if discord chat is too loud because trying to track using the OBS mixer is not accurate, at all! I’m thinking about getting the mic as well, even tho my hyper x mic sounds pretty damn good, I just want to try their software with the mic. This out classes the goxlr BY A LONG SHOT with the price alone!!! The negative reviews saying it doesn’t save your settings are WRONG! You have to save the settings to your audio profile when you change them! There’s a red dot next to the profile that indicates a change was made. Just like word documents put a star up at the top. This feature is AMAZING because who doesn’t make lil changes to their audio when their streaming that you don’t saved because it was to have a side conversation or to turn down the music or game audio to have a meaningful conversation. This mixer is everything I hoped for & more!!!!
