A really good set of fine brushes

I am no professional but I've always enjoyed painting miniatures and now my kids are doing their own art, and these seem like decent reliable brushes, especially good for my fiddly projects.

These brushes are really good and help with any kind of crafty projects especially those that need more specific techniques and complex designs. Highly recommended

Top of the inside is lined with plastic toprotect the case from dirty brushs.The plastic lining on the flap that covers thetop of the brushs isn't quite lined up right,leaving a small line of plastic hanging offthe side of the cover.Some of the brushes are hard to pull out,the slots being a little on the small side.Some of the wooden handles on the brushsare dented, possibly from being forced toofar into the too tight slots.The text on one of them is a little scratchedoff and the "e" in one of the words looksmore like a badly printed "o"The string to tie around the case and hold ittogether is a little short, being just onepiece of string folded and attached to theone side, it barely wraps around and leaveslittle room to tie a knot.The brushes themselves are fine to use and spread paint evenly. They don’t seem to lose bristles and clean up well.

In this pack you get 19 paintbrushes in total. All in different sizes so a good choice for a variety of art projects. They are presented in a carry bag so you can keep them all set and tidy. Be found them easy to clean which is great and I haven’t noticed any loss of bristles either.Overall this is a great set of paintbrushes with a good selection of brush shape and size. All kept together neatly in a cloth style pouch/bag. I’m happy with them!

It has twin ties that are generous in size to tie in a bow at the end of play (image below refers).When opened out, the wallet measures around 23.5 cm wide x 26.5 cm long.There is a transparent covering to the top flap inside that opens to reveal the tops of the good quality brushes, which benefit from having transparent caps on to keep the shape.Some of these can be tricky to replace (patience required) and I found a few of the brush slots in the wallet on the tight side so transferred my set to a pot, like lazy painters do!Varying in length from around 18 cm to 23 cm, the brushes are elegant in a shiny finish, creamy white colour with the size clear in black, along with the branding and what shape bristle they are, i.e.:~ ROUND~ FLAT~ LINER~ ANGULARIn the work I do, they clean up well in warm or warm soapy water with a good rinse off.8 images attached

I do cake decorating, but never find good brushes, hubby paints minitures and suggested i use some brushes like his..obv synthetic not sable.So far these are great, great shaped handle for grip.Great for detailing.Come in a wrap roll case, brilliant to keep together and safe ALTHO the plastic covers for the brushes are rubbish, they dont fit well and fall off.Not noticed any bristles coming loose yet, so..so far so good.Not a bad set, specially at £15.29 (time of doing this review)

I select this set of brushes for my family to use with paint by numbers kits. The bristles flex well, are easy to clean and do not shed. The brushes are reasonable good for working with acrylics. However, I do not feel that the pickup of the bristles is good enough for most watercolour painting. Such a wide range of brushes sizes for the price is very good value and there is a bonus of useful storage wrap as well. I happy to recommend this set for casual artists.
