This is an excellent power supply for general bench use. I particularly like the fact that you can set the output voltage and current limits before turning on the output voltage. You don't need to disconnect your device, set the voltage and then apply a short to set the current limit before starting your tests. I also like the fact that you can turn the output voltage on and off with just a button push without turning of the main AC power switch. The display is great as you can see the settings with the output power off. The wattage display is also nice. I have several bench supplies including an old HP unit which was my favorite but this one is now my favorite. I design PCBs for RF switch control applications and write firmware for them, so i am using this supply on a daily basis with lots of power on/off cycles.I have tried the remote programming commands using a terminal program and they are easy to use but I haven't written any test programs yet. I plan to use this feature in the future to implement some automatic testing. I highly recommend this power supply.

All the features you could ask for in a power supply. Main power switch on the front, output enable button, very informative display and low ripple/noise. Perfect addition to my workbench.

This is the coolest power supply I have ever had. Built in voltage and current meters to 3 decimal places. Just as accurate as my Fluke meters. There is even an oscilloscope display with 30V full scale and 30 second sweep, showing the output voltage. Very intuitive controls. Includes serial cable for programming. Voltage and current values can be set while the output is disabled. What a deal!

I have looked and looked for the best power supply and this one is the best coming from an engineer. The LCD display has all the information I was looking for. Very accurate as measured by my Fluke multi meter. I was amazed for a power supply to have such accurate readings and verified with my meter. I like it so much I ordered the 60v one. I peeked inside the unit and such a nice PCB build. I am also buying their cool desktop multi meter and oscilloscope after seeing how this is built. I highly recommend this unit.

It does work great, however when there is any type of load the fan goes on very loud. For this price there should have put a quieter fan in, or have the option in firmware to turn it off.
