Best lube on the planet
Over the past 5 decades I’ve tried just about every kind of bike chain lube out there, with the exception of wax or paraffin. This stuff just plain works. I used to use Rock’n’Roll gold lube but switched to Holy Cow because it is non flammable and for that reason it’s the only lube I can pack with me when I travel on airplanes, which I do frequently. The lube itself is clean, no smell to speak of, and it attracts no dirt worth mentioning. I do wipe down my chain, cogs, and chainrings after EVERY ride and then put some of this stuff on per the instructions. I ride roughly 400-500km/week, and my chains last me on average 8-9 months until they just BEGIN to show wear, at which point I put on a new chain, clean it before use and lube it with Holy Cow. I can’t even remember when was the last time I had to replace rear cogs, this stuff is that good. Go get you some of this, and use it per the instructions, you won’t regret it.

Good stuff, but I prefer the gold chain lube better
Rock-N-Roll is the best bicycle chain lubricant available, hands down. They have several formulas and I *prefer* the gold stuff. I just bought this on a whim.If you buy this one or their gold variety, you won't be disappointed. The gold one? Five stars, for sure.

Best lube you can buy, wet or dry
The only competition Holy Cow even has is from Rock N Roll's own 'Gold' lube... it's tough to say which is overall more effective but I'd have to give a slight edge to the Holy Cow in terms of lubricity with Gold getting a slight edge in cleanliness and longevity. Holy cow seems a little 'wetter' after it sets up and a little more slippery... Gold seems to run a little cleaner and get maybe 10% more mileage before the drivetrain starts getting noisy asking for more lube. Tough to go wrong with either.

works great lasts ok in the rain
it works pretty well and I can get maybe 3 10 mile rides in the rain. the only complaint is the chain needs to be warm to apply it.
