For those that are not clear on this, as I was not, the speed of the swirling motion CAN be changed - with the app. To change the speed, go to the "layers" tab at the bottom on the app, go to the third category down which is "dynamic mode", choose your color option, then go back to the crescent Moon icon on the bottom (for "Starlight"; I guess they think a crescent moon is a star where they make this thing) and then you can adjust the speed of the swirl by the second bar, the one with the little rocket icon just above it. (The first icon is a radiating sun, and that simply changes the brightness of the star field.) Make sure that you at least choose a dynamic swirl, because "static" (in the "layers" tab) means it does not move at all.The light isn't quite as bright as I would like, and it doesn't cover as much area as I had hoped, but at least it's something to work with. I'm hoping that it lasts longer than the 4 months that the other projectors died within, but if and when the motion on this stops working, I'll be sure to edit this review as soon as that happens. It's only been a few days so keep your fingers crossed. The longer you don't hear more from me, the more reliable the product is.

Was not expecting it to be as bright as it is. The stars are lasers, just a low power but may be an issue if you stare at them directly

The media could not be loaded.  I waited a while to make a review to make sure the projector was worth the money. I bought 2 different brands & returned them within a month because the motor would break or it just would go out in less than a month. This one has been great so far! The projector light is really powerful, it’s really convenient having the app to change the light settings on my phone, & so far it has been working the same as when I first bought it! There are a few cons. 1.) There is a loud start up noise every time you turn on the projector. It gets really annoying & noisy if you use it during anytime of the night. 2.) The speaker quality isn’t great (I wasn’t expecting it to anyways since I only wanted it for the light features) & 3.) There seems to be some interference when using a Roku remote around the projector. I noticed that when I use my roku remote to watch tv, it would mess with my projector. Even turning up my tv volume with the Roku remote will completely turn off the projector, making me have to turn back on the light & hear that annoying start up sound all over again, lol. I still love the projector & can deal with the small things for how great it works.

I bought this for my 3-year-old to see if it would help him be less scared of the dark. We already had a Himalayan salt lamp that gave off a gentle, warm light but he took to this instantly. I only gave it 4 stars because it is BRIGHT. Like, really, REALLY bright. So it doesn’t suit my needs 100% since he stays up a little later just gazing at the stars and aurora-borealis-type movement but it is awesome to look at.

Got this as a present for my 12 year old girl who loved it. However, it got far more attention from the 17-50 year old males of the household! Boys sat there for hours playing with all the settings. The lights are fun and the whole setup is very easy to use. The speaker is only okay….it’s not too bad, definitely okay for young kids, but nothing amazing. Overall we love it!

It's a nice product! Was looking for some nice ambient light to use while gaming or watching a movie.This galaxy project is very neat for that and price is nice.
