I have a conch piercing that is 10 weeks old. It was healing beautifully until after the swelling went down and it snagged a big because the post is now long. I developed a nasty piercing bump in the front and back, I was so bummed. No, these are not keloids but are actually temporary inflammation and hypertrophy of irritated tissue. Keloids are a different problem. I cannot get to my piercer for a downsize due to back to back hurricanes in Tampa so had to find a temporary solution. I did some online research and came across this kind of product but another brand. I didn’t care for the brand so came to Amazon looking for an alternative and found these. These were less expensive, I got more and while they are slightly stiff they seem to actually be silicone.They are like a donut that the post passes through the hole and because I was doing this myself, my piercing was still fresh and I needed to put them on both sides of the post, I cut a slit in it and slid it around the post front and back of the piercing instead. They have stayed on since and not fallen off, it’s been a week. The both of them together made the piercing fit nice and snug, just right to make it move less. I’m certain that the length of the post and movement is what was causing the bump. After 2 days with these in, the bumps disappeared. I think it’s a combination of pressure from the disc (which is what my research says is how it is supposed to work) as well as the stabilization of the jewelry. The bump is a symptom of the underlying problem and these addressed it perfectly.These definitely healed my bumps and my jewelry fits right now. I am going to leave them on until I can get to my piercer to downsize. They are nearly invisible and comfortable, easy to use and the price is great. You get multiple sizes to accommodate your needs.

No idea how-but got rid of a gnarly piercing bump in just days! Very impressed. Keep in mind the silicone ring takes up some space so you have to have long posts in-like the long post length they use when you first get it pierced

I would definitely buy it again and again. I had a blow to my piercing and because of that a ball sprouted near the earring. After a good cleaning, I applied one of these discs to the jewelry I was going to use and put it on. I swear that the next day it completely disappeared. It really works.

While these did work for me really well, I had to cut a slit in them to get it over my nose ring because it was a new piercing and I couldn't remove the jewely to put the thing on. Love the size options.

The disks keep my stud earrings in place. Earrings seem to be off a little bit, due to the way my ears are pierced. These discs solve the problem. Good price too. Nice size assortment.

I’m not sure but I ended up gluing it together because it wouldn’t stay in the little holes and corners popped out took me twice as long to finish.I’m returning. I only recieved 2 but was charged for 3. Please issue me credit for 1

Real results. My Medusa was getting icky from catching on my teeth, and so I was trying to find a way to heal it. I did have to take my piercing off to put it in, and that was a pain, but after a few weeks there is just a small bump. March 17-April 16
