NOT Great.
This was in impulse buy on my part. The purpose of this review is to help you avoid the impulse. This is not something you want to give for a gift. Dad would be better served with a tie on Father's day - even if never wears ties! I was expecting a much different product. I guess I had visions in my mind of the quality slide rules of my youth or drafting instruments I have used. This does not remotely approach the quality of those things. It is much larger in diameter than you might think from looking at the images. It feels cheaply made. In real life it is not very attractive. Pay close attention to how you use the various features of this device. It requires disassembly to get at most of them. I compared the measuring surfaces to a known good device. The inch and CM scales are close but not precise. I would not buy this again. I will toss it into a tool box and pray that something on it works when I need it to...
