These tactical shirts are a good value!
These shirts are great! I know have five of them, both short-sleeved and long-sleeved. They are well-made and fit appropriately. Easy to wash/dry. I look good in them.

Tacticool and functional!
I'll preface this with saying that I'm probably not the most stylish person on earth. In fact, what I wear on a daily basis is pretty predictable. What can I say? I like what I like, and I'm not big on change. With that being said, on a typical day I wear one of these Propper Short Sleeve Tactical shirts (with a random t-shirt underneath). Why? Because they are comfortable, durable, and I personally think they look professional while still being casual. On these shirts, I've never had a button break or a thread come loose. They do run somewhat large, as I typically wear a large (bordering medium), and the medium's fit me perfectly. Oh, and the pen pocket is great!

Great shirt but sizing is incredibly off
Love the look and the material. Wish I wouldve paid more attention to some of the reviews though. The shirt is like 1-2 sizes bigger than expected. I could fit at least two of me into it. I do like it though and will try ordering one or two more at smaller sizes. It is a nice shirt that can be used for business casual dress and still thick enough not to see through if you are conceal carrying. A couple things I would like to see offered in it: Snaps instead of buttons would make it easier to get CCW if needed. Also some checkered or non-solid patterns would be helpful in hiding any printing issues.Update, I ordered a second shirt and downgraded by one size. The shirt I received was completely the wrong shirt. Some type of pullover tshirt was delivered. The return options didnt list any exchange options so I had to return, have the payment refunded and then reorder a third time. The third shirt finally arrived and fit much better although was still a little big and Im curious as to whether I went down another size if it would fit better or be too small.

Don't Skimp on Quality! GO PROPPER!!!
I have worn Propper for about 8 years as a corrections officer, but this shirt was bought for a friend needing a shirt as part of a "Debbie Downer" costume. She loved how sturdy it was and that she now had a "work" shirt for the garden, house work, and other "dirty" work that would hold up. She was also happy she could share it with her husband for the same reasons. Now, I will tell you that Propper BDU items are damn near indestructible!! I have been out of corrections for several years, however, I have shirts that I wore for 8 full years that were already who-knows-how-many years old when I got them that are probably still in service with only a few button re-sews and are probaly only fraying over said buttons on the button cover flap. I have pants that I wore in rotation for close to 8 years that only wore out in the inner thighs after that long, some were able to be sewn back together and make it as it usually is just thread burn out and not the fabric. If you are smaller and you have a thigh gap- your pants can make it 15 years or more. They do not joke around! Also, this stuff (in brown at least) doesnt stain easy, and if you use shout or some other pre treat, it will wash right out. Ive had stains of unknown origin get set in but wash out a few rounds later... this poly blend is like magic. And, finally, Once you "break in" your Propper BDU's, I swear on everything holy, it is like wearing pajamas... they are so comfortable!! Even with a duty belt, boots, radio... (no vest in the jail) you are still somehow comfortable in these (as long as you do a military sleeve roll on the long sleeve shirts). I hope this convinces you to buy this specific brand over others such as galls, 5.11, etc- I've tried others, but Propper beats all of them out on durability and quality!

Don't like synthetic
Like the fitted shirt with epaulets but prefer 100% cotton.

Order a size smaller for every day wear
Read bottom of my review for in-depth sizing. It's an excellent quality shirt, however I must say the sizing is off the charts.I wear am about a medium in T-shirts, although I do wear large because I like baggy, and I like to be able to raise my arms without my stomach showing.I ordered THIS SHIRT in a SMALL, and it fits quite well. It fits like a medium, but just ever so slightly smaller.I'm 5' 7" and 148lbs. And the SMALL fits like a pretty snug medium. It's not too small, but it is quite snug with the buttons all closed. So do like I did, always order one size smaller when ordering these for "every day wear", as someone said, these generally run larger so they can be run over small armor vests, meaning the one size smaller trick is more for "wearing it like a T-shirt" kinda wear.Excellent shirt, feels high quality, could be better of course, but I'm rough with it and it has yet to quit on me, very well done.
