The Braille Store Liquid Level Indicator

I got this level indicator after a fellow blind person told me they existed. I needed one because I had poured boiling water over my fingers making tea. My vision has gotten very poor and my hearing is also impaired so I was a bit skeptical. This device is excellent! It has a nice loud high pitch, two sets of sensors so you can get a higher fill if necessary, and it’s so easy to slide the compartment open and change the batteries. I would definitely recommend this device to other people who are visually impaired.

I use this most for making coffee using a ceramic pour over cone. It does get a bit loud, but it sure beats out all other similar devices I've tried. It's very similar to another liquid level indicator I've had for about 16 years now. That one still works, but all rechargeable 9-volt batteries I've tried in it fail to make it beep. This one takes two AAA batteries instead, and I'm using rechargeable batteries in it now with no problems at all. This indicator also fits better on my coffee cup with the base of the pour over cone sitting on top of it than any other similar product. I highly recommend it.

It works pretty good. There are two glaring problems. First off, the buzzer is ear-splitting. You're not making tea without the entire house knowing about it. Second off, there are two small holes right on the top of the unit which presumably make it not water-proof. Good job there. Covering the holes does next to nothing to the sound levels so I have no idea why they're there.So yeah this thing was designed for people with earplugs welded to their skulls but at the end of the day I can pour myself tea and coffee without the anxiety of wondering whether my cup is half full or if another half-second of pouring will result in burnt fingers.

A very useful assistive tool, especially if you are serving a drink to someone and you don't want to put your finger over the rim. Just be careful though, as this thing is quite loud! 😀

Works like expected, but my daughter doesn’t like it because it doesn’t give enough room at the top of her glass. Also makes my dogs go crazy as they hear it go off.

I am so far pleased with the indicator. The battery compartment works well. The alarm is loud, but not obnoxious.This replaced a dual alarm indicator that I purchased in March. The alarm wouldn’t stop going off one morning, and battery wouldn’t come out. I finally brought out the hammer.This unit uses two AAA batteries instead of 9V. I appreciate this feature.The seller is reliable and ships fast. I have purchased a few things from them. The only thing I’d ask to improve, provide tracking info. I asked on last purchase... The company responded that there is no tracking they provide.

When the product arrived, it did not work at all. I requested a replacement which I never received.

I actually use these for when I'm filling up my aquariums so I can walk away without worrying about them overflowing. I ordered these twice because they work so well. I did have 1 defective one that made noise once you put batteries in it but the company sent me a replacement right away. They all arrived way sooner than the estimated arrival date. Highly recommend this product.
