Having tried several Coccyx Cushions over the years....THIS cushion is without a doubt the BEST I have ever used. While most work well enough in hard seats, this one works better than any I'vve tried... in 'soft' seats like easy chairs and recliners. Most flatten out too much or sink into the soft seat, losing the purpose of pressure on the tailbone. THIS cushion is thick and firm and provides the best support and protection of the tailbone out of any of the diff cushions I have tried. I have now bought a second cushion and will be getting a 3rd for my car soon. The only thing I do wish it had that some of the others do, is a handle. I have to bring mine around in a tote bag because it is thick and heavy and has no comfortable way to grip it without a handle.

After trying several cushions I finally found the 1 that works for me. The cushion is thick and made well. When I get up it bounces back. In regards to pain, I cracked my tail bones years ago and with all this sitting around (covid induced) my tail bone pain was becoming a disability. I received this yesterday and I'm happy to say no tail bone pain. I'm very pleased with with this cushion and would recommend it. One nice thing for me is I have Prime so returns are easy which allowed me to try several before buying.

Having an unstable tailbone is h*ll. I've tried several different kinds of cushions over the last few months and this one is probably the best I've found and stays in the chair I sit in most. I'm a cat owner, so the inflatable cushions aren't an option. I'm a bigger gal (size 18), and the size is fine for me. My size 1 daughter even finds it comfortable and she has no tailbone problems. I've not noticed the gel making much of a difference, but I haven't noticed any of my cushions causing heat issues, so your mileage may vary on that. But if you're suffering with tailbone pain, I can't recommend this cushion enough.

This was the second Coccyx seat cushion I bought in as many weeks. The first one was fantastic. It performed as described and relieved the pressure from a pinched nerve.For some reason though, the second one was a dud. It flattened out easily and took a long time to recover its shape. I would've sent it back but I didn't keep the original packaging, thinking it would be just as good as the first one.UPDATED: After a chat with one of the representatives for The Deal Price, I received a replacement for the bad cushion. Who knows why that one didn't work, but the new one is nice and plump and easily returns to its shape.Kudos to The Deal Price for standing by their product. When you live with this much pain, anything that helps is a blessing.

I turned the cut away around to use while I am recovering from an episiotomy. The cut away is long and wide enough and it works well at taking the pressure off that area. The memory foam is low density with no support and compresses within minutes of sitting on it. It gets real flat and is only as comfortable as the chair I put it on. It will work while I am recovering but it is not a comfort pillow. A higher density memory foam is going to cost a lot more.

I have an issue with my tailbone where it was getting sore from sitting. I got this thinking it would help.I work at a computer so I have a basic office chair which I used this with. The cushion is incredibly thick, so it raised me up a good deal. Unfortunately this put my back support from my office chair in a weird spot, which resulted in a bit of discomfort from the arch in the back pushing in the wrong spot.This got a bit worse as time went on, and before long, instead of relieving the pressure on my coccyx, it actually became more sensitive and painful.The memory foam also causes it to hug tight to you, so if you try to adjust on your seat it sticks to you and slides with you. This is extra uncomfortable as there's support right at the crotch area, which the combination of memory foam and this frontal shape means you'll get a lot of unwanted pressure there. The cushion also got fairly hot and didn't breath well.Even when it wasn't causing me additional pain, it didn't feel comfortable to sit on.I've opted to stop using it and while my tailbone pain hasn't gone away, it's definitely not as bad as when I was using it.I wouldn't recommend this product or any products shaped like it to treat tailbone issues. Maybe it'd work for middle/lower back pain, or maybe if you're just using it on a simple hard chair. But for office use? Probably a big no.

Excellent quality and works great. We love these they have helped our backs and helps keep our spine aligned better and are very comfortable! Very well made and you can take the cover off and wash them they come out nice when you do.I have bought a few of these for myself and my family and they can't get over how much better it helps their backs even the ones that don't have back issues!
