Great value for the price - works well tamping.
Heavy duty tamper with a smooth wooden handle. Works really well tamping fine ground espresso coffee. With the wood handle, I have been hand washing, I do not recommend putting it in the dishwasher.

Changed design?
I bought two of these about 2 months apart (with the same Amazon SKU). The first one appeared to have a machined finish with a sharper bottom corner, the second has a shinier chrome finish with a slightly rounded corner. Both work fine. I prefer the look and corner of the earlier one, though the chrome finish of the newer one tends to shed grounds a little better.

Nice tight fit, great weight, looks professional too
Perfect weight and size, I am a bit concerned that the peg that screws into the wood handle is rusty but obviously it's new in the package and was shipped that way so maybe since it doesn't touch the grounds it is a non issue. I decided to keep it and use it anyway. I like the weight and snug fit. the chrome is very easy to clean.
