They have been working well for the past year. Not too bring, but good light and 8 variations. Just got them out and one of them is not working correctly. Half of the lights are off and it seems it doesn't change to other modes. It goes to one and you change and nothing happens. And then click again and to the same mode. Not sure whyit is not working correctly....I got them a year ago and just used it for Halloween and they were fine. Frustrated that I can't contact the seller. Oh well....off for not to see if another day of sun helps.

We were pleased and surprised that the colored lights last through the night. That said, they are dim. We tested them before we wrapped our trees, but then after wrapping 2 trees with 2 sets (a total of four strands), the topmost strand of one of the sets did not work. The other strands are still working going on six months later, but it was a disappointment that the most incoveniently located strand stopped working almost immediately.

Since I've been home for the past month, I've been able to really make good use of these lights to spruce things up around the house. Great bang for buck and this set works great! So easy to use and the lights are give off a warm cozy feeling at night. I like that there's a light sensor on the face of the solar panels. Saves battery when it's light out and turns on instantly once it gets dark. I would totally recommend this and will try the cooler white colors on next order. Lots of modes to choose from as well!

First, these lights look very nice. The color is a beautiful amber and visible from a good distance. My gripe: I bought several of these to put on trees around my property. Right now, I have a 2 to 5 ratio of breakage or simply failing after a day of use. The wire and where it joins the lights are extremely delicate. There definitely was an operator-error issue in the beginning, where I just was too rough when handling. My bad. But, after destroying two strands, I finally treated them like Faberge eggs/ artwork and was able to get the strands very gently placed on three trees. They worked perfectly the first evening. I'm in sunny Northern California, and had plenty of Sun fuel, so I felt confident we would experience the display for a good deal of time. Wrong. After just one day, two of the strands discontinued. I replaced them. Next day, another of the first strands failed. I'm very disappointed. But, perhaps someone from the dealer or manufacturer will point out a fix or best practice that may turn this around where I can re-rate. They really are beautiful while functioning.

These work great. I wasn't expecting them to remain on all night, but they do. Nice and bright. Got them in November and they are still going strong 6 weeks later.
