This alarm has changed my morning routine. Never found getting up early to start work easy. This alarm is amazing. I now wake up slowly and ready to start the day, without having to keep hitting the snooze button. It has helped me get into a regulated sleep routine and pattern getting up at the same time each day, which I have tried for years with no success. I love waking up to the bird song option. It’s a handy night light too. A lot cheaper than others on the market but well worth a try. I have recommended to lots of friends.

I really like this sunlight. A good size and very bright. Much more effective. I like the sunrise/sunset aspect. Was easy enough to work things out. Alarm sounds are a bit naff but it’s fine. Using it as a bedside light it’s so bright.

I bought this as I didn't want to spend £80 for the Lumie light, but ended up going for it anyway.Here is why:I purchased this light and used it for about a month. I was generally happy with it. It turned very bright and certainly made waking up more enjoyable. There are plenty of options in terms of brightness, sounds, length of sunrise; in fact more than with the more expensive Lumie. It didn't look as nice but I suppose that is up to every individual. The sunrise is not as smooth as with the Lumie but certainly does the job. Also, I liked that you can choose between so many different sounds to wake up to.However, after about two weeks, I started to hear buzzing sounds inside the lamp and the plug. When you potter around the place it doesn't matter but when you're trying to sleep right next to it, I found it very disturbing. I tried other outlets and even changed the cable etc but I still heard the buzzing inside the light. I decided to return the lamp and went for the Lumie instead.Take this review with a pinch of salt. I never asked for a replacement so maybe I was just unlucky. However, I didn't wanna take the chance having to return a second light.I personally think the Lumie is nicer with regards to the light itself and the way it looks and I would go for it right away in hindsight.

It’s on ok light for the price and I prefer the shape to the real thing (Lumie).Cons:I usually wake up the minute the light starts on red, so even the very beginning is a bit bright and I don’t get the gradual coming into consciousness that I thought I might. It’s not a smooth transition as it gets brighter, you notice each stage, but it’s ok if I just turn my head away and snooze.Pros: fraction of the price of the real thing, no longer go from a totally dark bedroom to reaching for the light, which feels better on dark mornings. Good first step into the whole sunrise alarm thingy.
