I am a "do it yourself" guy and I never had the stilts before. I decided it was time because when painting, drywalling, etc - it was difficult to work overhead on a ladder and cumbersome to move around. I am quite happy with this purchase, the only minor item is that I wish there was a way to secure the straps to the unit so they don't fall off when not in use. While wearing them, there is a slot -- to be clear.Now I can reach to the higher ceiling spots without having to go up and down a ladder.

Once you get them adjusted to your liking they are great. Easy to learn and use. Wish I would have got them 20 years ago.

Ok so while the stilts are easy to assemble and adjust and the aluminum material is sturdy enough, the straps used on these are VERY CHEAPLY MADE, AND ACTUALLY UNSAFE! The clamps that adjust the straps come loose very easily and mine broke on the first usage, and caused me to fall, luckily I had them at their minimum height so I didn't get hurt, but it was a near miss, after this I like many others simply replaced the straps (particularly the calf straps) with other more suitable after market straps, and brought them up to par, but I am only giving a 1 Star rating to what appears to be an otherwise solid made set of aluminum stilts due to the fact that I shouldn't have to upgrade straps only after 1 useage for safety, also be advised that once you assemble and stand on your stilts you VOID THE RETURN POLICY, as they state that they may be returned in unused condition, so if you do choose to buy, make sure you plan to invest in better straps, you will still get off cheaper than a pro set of stilts but it is essentially necessary to do so for YOUR OWN SAFETY, had they decided to include straps that didn't put customers safety at risk they would have gotten 5 stars.

First of all this package showed up 4 days late and when it finally showed up I cant even use them cause there is no leg straps.

I’m a contractor and have used stilts for many years. I thought I would try these and save a little money vs buying at a tool store. Honestly, they are almost exactly the same as the ones that cost double. The feet at the bottom are a little smaller, but I didn’t notice. These work great.
