Tasty and effective!
I love this brand! I can really tell when I don't take it for sure! The flavor is sweet and fruity. It takes a while to dissolve but honestly I really enjoy the taste so it doesn't bother me. It does not upset my stomach at all and I feel like it clears my head. No smell. I take for MTHFR and the Methyl B12 really helps give me balance. They do break apart in the bottle sometimes in transit but I take everyday so once a month is ok

Can be broken into 1/4ths! I have a yeast allergy and have been okay with this product!!
I have a severe yeast allergy (to Saccharomyces cerevisiae aka baker's yeast, brewer's yeast, active dry yeast, etc) and have used this B12 product safely, with no issues, but I still only take 1/4 of a lozenge (because I don't want a mega dose of B12 at a time and I take 1/2 or 1/4 of a lozenge every 5-7 days. To break it, I put it in a plastic baggy, and break it on the edge of the table in half, and then in half again)I saw in the "questions" area that people were asking about yeast and why it doesn't say "yeast-free" ...I can probably help with this and will explain --- the reason it doesn't say "yeast-free" is likely due to xylitol in the inactive ingredients, although there is likely no yeast remaining and minimal to no yeast proteins. This product is a lozenge, so I felt safer trying it, although it doesn't specifically say yeast-free, but due to my science background and understanding of manufacturing practices, I assumed the risk was very low, since B12 is generated via bacterial fermentation, and xylitol is the culprit here (to why it doesn't say "yeast-free"), as it can be produced using bacterial fermentation, yeast fermentation, mixed cultures of both, or fungi, or enzymatic reactions, but there should be no yeast in the end product that is sold as food-grade xylitol for companies to use in their products. To try this product, I broke one lozenge into 4 pieces and put 1/4th piece inside of my lip between lower teeth and lip. An allergy doctor told me to do this to try things if it should be safe, but if I am unsure, since that is a highly vascular region with thin skin where absorption is quick, so you'd know from skin changes/mouth feeling if it is not safe, could reverse with medication at that point, and would not have ingested it into digestive system.===================Manufacturing B12 and Xylitol...Let's start with B-12:Vitamin B12 that is laboratory made uses bacterial fermentation, like Lactobacillus strains. (Not yeast fermentation --- yeasts cannot make B12). Luckily, yeasts do not create B12...so would not be used in manufacturing of B12.Moving to Xylitol...Xylitol is a sugar alcohol, it's complex to produce commercially...there are a variety of steps to create D-Xylose, and from here, Xylitol is produced from D-Xylose using either yeast, bacteria, fungi, or mixed cultures of both yeast and bacteria, or enzymatic reactions... so the supplier of xylitol for this product likely doesn't say it's yeast-free, but even if yeasts were used, yeast would be separated and removed in the creation of food-grade xylitol. Most xylitol manufacturing, if using yeast-containing cultures, would use Candida yeast strains (which most people cannot be allergic to, since naturally in our bodies and on our skin, our body keeps these in certain levels since we need but also don't want over-growth) but this would be removed in processing steps, anyway. Most yeast allergies are to Saccharomyces strains, which aren't usually used in xylitol processing because they yield much less xylitol at the end compared to Candida strains. There is also a chance that the xylitol is produced using a completely different process (hydrolysis, but that involves a lot of solvents, reagents, purification steps and separation steps and was expensive so companies began looking into ways using the above explained microbiology practices using micro-organisms) and there is no yeast involved at all in the hydrolysis super manufacturing of xylitol... but we'd need the company to tell us where they source their Xylitol from, and we could look that up about which processes they used.

Excellent for those of us with methylation difficulties
I absolutely love these lozenges! So easy to take every day. I have MTHFR gene mutation this here is a game changer for people who cannot methylate be 12! I’ve been wanting to try it for a while and I’m glad I did.

The Closest thing to a Miracle in Pill form I have Found!
I have suffered from constant fatigue, joint pain and a number of other disorders and chronic illnesses for years. I have been tested for hypothyroidism, gluten intolerance, and anything else doctors could think of, but no one could find a reason for my symptoms.I finally got an answer when a gene methylation analysis showed I was homozygous for the MTHFR C677T mutation, as well as for COMT V158M and COMT H62H mutations. Doing research, I found that suddenly my symptoms made sense, and had a cause I could pinpoint! The MTHFR C677T mutation alone means that I cannot break down folic acid into folate, nor can I break down folate effectively into 5-MTHF, the bio-available form of folate. My methylation cycle has been crippled by this genetic mutation to a large degree. Various other issues (antacid use and gastrointestinal troubles) have led to me being deficient in B12 as well.I stopped taking my folic-acid containing multivitamins, stopped eating folic acid fortified foods, and bought these B12 lozenges with L-5-MTHF.You know how when you first take a new supplement you wonder after a few days or weeks if it's really working? That was NOT the case with this sublingual supplement! I swear, the very first dose I took saw me with more energy than I have had in years.I'm fully off my multi now (and have an appointment with a specialist to figure out the exact dosages I need to take of what types of supplements to help with this genetic mutation) but I feel better on this one supplement alone than I have since I was in my early twenties. My chronic achilles tendinosis? Well, not completely gone, but I'm finally having pain-free days. My shoulder and hip joint pain has decreased. My heat intolerance has all but disappeared. I actually stood up and mingled, socially, at an outdoor work event in 96 degree heat for 5 hours without feeling faint or sick!Best yet, I'm sleeping only 8 hours a night now and I don't need to take naps in the middle of the day.I started out on one tablet and am working my way up to 2-3 tablets a day sublingually. I will take one as soon as I wake up, and in 10 minutes I feel too alert to stay in bed any longer. Then I'll take another one a couple of hours later, and finally a last one right as I start to get the "post-lunch coma" around 2pm.I've already ordered another bottle. I don't know yet what my full supplement regimen will be to best manage the expressions of these various gene mutations, but I feel like I'm already 75% of the way there with this product! I feel 15 years younger.
