I use this primarily on smaller wires. 16 to 18 gauge wires. I tried out the using the adjustment stop and it gives me quick and accurate striping of the insulation repeatedly.

If you do a lot of wire stripping then do yourself a favor and get a set of these. They’re major time savers and they’re fun to use. I like these a lot and if I somehow manage to break them I’ll definitely get another pair. They’re a permanent part of my wiring kit.

Simple solid design. Better built the bluepoint. No problems with any of the various insulation types. From mtw to 20 year old Lapp cables. Doesn’t lock in a cloesed position. Only feature I feel it’s missing.

Really nice stripper. When you need/want very consistent length stipped ends, this design is superb.Note: strip length scale is metric (no surprise there, it's German). But if this is just too much for you to handle, you may want another model of wire stripper.

Achetée en complément d'une knipex à l'ancienne avec la petite vis pour régler le diamètre de denudage, celle ci est beaucoup plus performante sur les câbles de petits diamètres en n'abimant la tresse. Un peu d'entraînement sur des chutes de câbles et elle est adoptée. Par contre elle ne permet que de dénuder sur une courte longueur, toutefois suffisante pour un usage classique d'électricien

I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for. I bought these to replace something similar I'd owned for 25 years, cost twice what these did and had lost! I was looking for quality and happy to pay and considering theserwere cheaper than my old pair was concerened they'd be as good, I needn't have worried, these have worked perfectly and effortlessly and I'm really pleased with them. Hopefully they'll strip as many thousands of cables that my previous pair did.
