A recent change required I add additional lighting to my backyard using a light by my detached garage. Since the beginning of the year I had been faithfully turning that light on manually at night and off manually each morning. Given the cold weather, it was an annoyance until I finally realized I could buy bulbs that turn on and off via light sensors. I ordered a pair of these bulbs at the beginning of March and immediately installed one by the garage. It's been over a month and the light activated bulb is working perfectly. This is just what I needed. Now when I look out my kitchen window at night, I see the little light that could burning brightly in the night. Another gripe turned to gratitude!

Works well as advertised

This is more than just a energy saver! I replaced two standard bulb porch lights with these two LED bulbs in late fall. When dawn arrives, the lights go off by themselves. When dusk arrives, they come on. No more flicking switches (just leave in on position), no more communicating about turning off lights to save energy or on for security, and no more fumbling with keys when returning home past dusk. On rare cloudy days, lights came on during the day, but that happened once or twice in four months. In summer, the sun is overhead, and it may cast a shadow on the porch--we'll see if the lights come on. Wonderful product!

On at dusk and off at dawn as they should be. However the lumens and color temperature are not exactly as the advertised literature on the box or listing. The lumens are more like 750 or 50 watt equivalent. Not too far off of the advertised 800 or 60 watts. The color temperature is as well not accurate showing 2700K is more like 3000K, again not too far off. The main reason for purchase was the dusk to dawn function, and they do that well. I did make sure to turn them on after dark for the first time.

So far, so good with these lights. They are a bit smaller than ones I had bought previously from another seller, so they fit better in the ceiling fan light fixture that I bought them for. I've only been using them for about 4 weeks so I can't comment on their longetivity yet. Since I use them about 9 hrs a day, and based on a life expectancy of 13.7 years with 3 hrs per day usage, I'll come back in 4.5 years and let you know if they are still going 😁 (or sooner if they crap-out before then).

Waited about a year before submitting my review. These lights are fantastic. They are not a blinding bright white light but a soft white and light up my driveway enough to see everything there is to see. Definitely worth the money!

Wanted t light up the stairway without dealing with a timer, or a new fixture. These work great. I am very impressed so far, no issues. and they come on when they should. Just seem whiter than the 2700K rating. but for me that is fine.

The soft white version of this bulb provides great interior lighting. No buzzing or hissing sound when lights are dimmed either. They've lasted well over a year. Worthy investment.

Excelente producto aunque la luz no es blanca pero alumbra lo suficiente con un foco te puede iluminar bien un area de unos 8x8 m, pero con los dos focos va mas que bien.
