Vortex Optics Strikefire II Red Dot Sights

Bought this without really needing it, was just a nice unit at a great price. Stuck it on one of my M400 Sig's and sighted it in in 2 rounds. Easily switches from red to green and has multiple reticles to chose from. Only personal drawbacks in my opinion are it sets kind of high and uses a freaky battery instead of the button batteries most other optics use. All in all I would like to have a handfull of these optics.

Never thought I’d spend this much on an optic. Love the look. Put on my AR and made literally two adjustments. I was in the bullseye. Flip up lens caps.

I’ve used ACOGs and EOTECHs at works and they’re very nice but this is all you really need. Seems very well built and durable. Much easier on your wallet. Can’t beat the warranty. I would purchase this again for sure.

I’ll be honest I am SHOCKED by the good quality of this optic has held up, I’ve ran it into the dirt hog hunting and it has held up with its zero perfectly. I like it more then my aim point T-2. It still has. With a 2MOA dot (green or red) and how well it takes a beating I’d buy one for all my shorter ARs

Bought this for my AR chambered in .50 Beowulf and it was almost right on target out of the box! Ammo is very expensive so that was a huge plus and after some very slight adjustments it’s now a tack driver. Love the quality of this sight for the money!

GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!! But then again, it’s a Vortex!This is a 4moa red/green dot optic that can easily be changed for brightness and color! I’m older, my kids mention that way too often now, and given my astigmatism, I prefer the green dot setting but many prefer the red so it’s great to have the option! Sometimes I switch back and forth just to see if I’m actually getting younger? Benjamin Button’s got nothing on me! 😂Best part is u can adjust the colored dot brightness way down for long range, 100yard+ shooting, the dot is more like a 2moa dot or less, in this setting! Cranker up for close range and you’ve got the best of all worlds! Also night-vision compatible for you “snoopers.”Very accurate optic with 1” groups at 100 yards zero even with my feeble eyes and shelf ammo! Paired this with the UTG Super Slim Flip up front and rear sights, and the Vortex Strikefire II with the cantelever mount can be adjusted on the rail for a lower 1/3 co-witness view with the UTG sights! Obviously your results may differ pending your line of sight on your favorite Gal! Running on a 5.56/.223 Pistol with a 7.5” barrel! She’s tight!!Super easy to install and super easy to sight in, use the smallest dot size setting when sighting in, and remember to shoot with both eyes open! Once you get used to this “both eyes open” style, Target acquisition is super fast and easy even for us old guys! Just remember, OLD GUYS RULE! 😜Excellent combo and you might want to try the 36/300 yard zero with the 25yard adjusted zero targets for the 5.5" center mass strike zone out to 300 yards. Very impressive and might just become your favorite zeroed yardage?Most shooting ranges accommodate the 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard pins so the 25 yard adjusted zero targets gives you the 25 yard point of aim zero and a 36 yard point of impact zero so you can easily adjust for a 36yard point of impact zero when shooting at the 25 yard pin distance.
