Some pieces are hard to assemble, but it’s a fun set. We needed to order a second set (had half put together when we realized the giraffe didn’t come with a head).

Such a great value! This set comes with 12 animal building blocks that are compatible with other brands. My 2 yr old and 7yr old both have a lot of fund with these. Each animal has the round shapes that allow blocks to attach to them, allowing figurines to ride the animals. The animals were not proportionate in sizing to the figurines, or to each other in size in relation to each type of animal, but no big deal.You do need to assemble the animals before playing, but that is the building nature to these.We did lose some of the legs to the animals (our panda forever does not have back legs).For the price of $20, these were an amazing deal compared to the other major brand.Set comes in a plastic bag, not really reusable. These are now mixed in with other blocks.

Our 6yr old isn't interested much, but our 2yr old LOVES these animals! The parts are no exactly easy to put together (requires quite a bit of pressure to snap together) and the heads on the animals need to be placed correctly if they are to move after assembly. Once all that's done and out of the way, our 2yr old loved playing with all the animals and now we use them to teach the names of each! It's great!Pros:+ durable+ variety of common animals+ each animal in individual bag to easy finding pieces+ simple pieces+ quick assembly+ instructions printed on the bag!Cons/Improvements:- outer bag could be re-sealable (ziplock?) to make it reusable for storage- maybe a few more animals?- birds instead of a second cow/shark?

These animals took a long time to arrive but were well protected in transit; and came in a well-branded poly bag. The animals are individually wrapped, which would be perfect for party favors or a non-candy classmates gift. They are well-made, however I did not realize that they come unassembled. If your kiddos like to put things together like Legos, then they will love these. My kids however, just like to disassemble them, so it would have been better for us to get a different set of animals that are assembled and do not come apart. But, overall these are a cute set for the price!
