Dinty MoorePlus Beef Stew, 9 Oz

I sent these to my mother in a nursing home. These are great when she doesn’t care for the meal they are serving.

It is a quick, self-contained meal that takes only a minute in the microwave. I gave this to a person who was having troubles and they absolutely adored these little portable meals. I think the beef stew has a great taste. When you are a bachelor, the quicker and easier that you can fix a meal, the better.

I'll admit that eating Dinty Moore Beef Stew is like a flashback to childhood. I get nostalgia plus a good-tasting, affordable, and easy to prepare beef stew.This is a 9-ounce plate of microwaveable beef stew. You vent the plate/bowl and put it in the microwave for a minute. It's ready.I tried another brand and just wasn't quite happy with it. Dinty Moore offers a beautiful balance of beef, potatoes, and carrots. As a paraplegic who lives alone, I love how easy it is to prepare and most days I can even manage to carry it from the microwave to my desk where I eat.Is this super fancy? Of course not. It's an affordable, enjoyable meal that is convenient to prepare. Hormel doesn't use any artificial ingredients.Each container is one serving. Each container has 200 calories, 7g of fat, and 35mg of cholesterol. If there's a down side, it's the 1130mg of sodium. I do really like the 12g of protein.Overall, this is one of my go-to options for a fast, enjoyable meal. I've enjoyed them since I was a kid, and before they were microwaveable, and I continue to love them now.

Just as good as their canned package. This is convenient to always have on hand.
