A great value for top notch protection! Just remember to keep track of your renewal and read the terms of their auto-renew policy. You can opt in or out at any time by changing the setting. The additional level of tech support and virus removal service is include as long as you are signed up for the auto renewal but you will be renewed at the regular rate which is higher than this initial value. You can chose to simply opt out from the auto renew program a few months before your subscription ends and purchase the software again from a retailer like Amazon at a discounted price. The new subscription will be added to your current subscription so you don't lose anything. They do require a valid credit card on file to activate the auto renewal and upgraded tech support but it will only be charged if you have the program turned on in your settings. There is basic tech support available to help with the installation and to make sure you have the settings adjusted to your preference. I have been a satisfied subscriber for over 10 years and have used both the auto renew and the self install methods.

If you are good at defragmenting your computer you are going to love this program. I am not and I hate it because it takes hours to scan and I'm running a Intel Core i3 at full speed. Defragmenting cuts the scan time so much that you will force yourself to do it just to save electricity and not have it running while you're trying to sleep. The scans are through and you will get to love a feature called"Remove cookies and trackers" that even scans your registry for bugs. The full scans are 5 Stars, but the scan time without the defrag would be 4 stars or even 3 it takes soooooo long. Overall good product.

Not what I expected. I was looking for the best most comprehensive computer protection software. I should have done more research since the price was so low at $29.99. I did not install this software and will not be using it as my new computer came with trial McAfee LiveSafe installed. As I did further investigation, I find that LiveSafe is the better more inclusive product. I purchased it online from McAfee for $89.99 and am pleased with the protection it says it will provide. Please note that the fact I will not be using McAfee Total Protection is not an error on the part of McAfee or Amazon, but it is rather my personal error for not doing more research to discover what product would best suit my needs.

I had a terrible experience. I tried to install this software, then received a message that there was some problem and I should call a number that it gave me. I called it and they want to take control of my computer to see what the problem was. They did and then claimed bet it was a network problem, and they can fix it for $200 a year, or $500 for a lifetime. I told them that this salad bogus, and I was getting off. They sounded a little nervous after I said that. I subsequently called McAfee, and they told me that the number that I was told to call was not one of their numbers. I subsequently ended up wiping all the extraneous software from my computer, and beefing up the security to my network. During my conversation with the I was told to call, I gave them my name and address, as well as my email address. I have since received spearfishing attempts, which I saw through by checking the details of the sending email account. I had not received these before, and suspect that there's a connection but can't prove it.

I have a previous program and I like it unfortunately when installing to 3 of my computer it failed on one of them. it said the McAfee download install had a faulty .dll file. it was mcmscins.dll I tried to contact their support but is has been down for some time. I searched for the problem and it appears that McAfee programs have had this problem for years and it has never been resolved. Search of the file and you will see.From the information online McAfee has not attempted to fix the problem. Also you will see that they advertise the software is for 10 devices but it only does five. I have no experience with that yet so I can't confirm or deny it since I haven't gotten it installed yet on all of my computers and devices, but at least one of them it looks like I never will.

I have bought Mcafee Total Protection for the last 2-4 years and other Mcafee AntiVirus Products before. They taught us that you need antivirus software so I have it. I have it for my Windows 10 devices. They keep changing amount of devices. I like the 10 device one or unlimited(discontinued) one. I try to get this on sale. Ease of use is fine. Mcafee Customer service with questions=excellent for me. Had a question, ended up to be a stupid one but they answered it and fixed the issue or setting. It was a setting in the firefox add-ons.

Gives the required protection that is required to fight the pest of the electronic world. McAfee does well in providing the needed protection and works well, a pain that i wish i would not have to put the energy into dealing with is why i did 4 stars.

Not much to use because the version I got you have to pay on a monthly basis for the more important features of the program. When I read what the program covers , number of devices it covers at a great price, I bought it; not understanding the most important features you still have pay extra for. Otherwise I guess it’s a good product; but I’ll really never know because I’m not paying additional $ .
