Ok so alot of the reviews say this oil smells "Rancid". I DISAGREE. This oil smells just like an organic oil would. It does have a scent and it is very earthy and nutty but Not Rotten. Pomegranate oil is an oil that fights free radicals and has a slow aging process making its benefits last longer and shelf life longer. Do I like the scent No. Even with other oils added it still smells Nutty and earthy but perhaps I just need to add more fragrant essential oils to the batch as it is a carrier oil so mixing it with other oils is exactly what you do. I have it 4 stars because I just started using and have no results yet. It is thick like corn syrup and I'm ok with that. If you want true organic oils SVA is legit go to thier actual website and you will see that it is USDA APPROVED ORGANIC. I use their citrus oils and I love them. I have high hopes for this pomegranate seed oil for anti aging benefits and probably mixing it into tea as well ect. We are getting products from the earth and people need to remember that Not all organics smell sweet and an flowery and chances are if it smells like perfume its probably Not the real deal. Seeds are bitter and nutty and this is exactly what this oil is made from. So yes the smell is Not the best but it is a legit product and the smell does Fade over time. I suggest using the oil at night allowing it to soak into the skin and the scent fading also I recommend mixing it with a strong fragrant essential oil that foes have a sweet smell because it will help reduce the earthy bitter Seed smell.
