This is another great product from Midnite Solar. I like how well built the box is and the fact it's made from aluminum. This should last for a very long time.Pros: light, sturdy, plenty of buss capacity, comes with DIN rail already mounted, comes prepared for either fuse or breaker installs, has many options for knockout locations, top notch and easy to read instructions, ability to run 2 isolated strings through this box, easy to install!Cons: If I had to change anything, I'd want the star lock washer to stay with the screw that holds the door closed. It can fall and get lost easily. Other than that, this box is great.Some are upset that this unit lacks fuses/breakers. It's understandable that the box doesn't come with any. There are so many ways to wire your system, that some supplied fuses/breakers may not be used. That would waste money! I opted for the MNEPV15 breakers in my install, so any other supplied hardware would have gone unused.Midnite Solar did a great job with this box. I'm starting to become a very big fan of their products. This box was a quick and easy install. I'll be buying more for future projects.

Bought this to use indoors with my 400 watt solar project to isolate the input feed from my 4 x 100 watt Grape Solar Panels. I wanted the capability of independently isolating my panels for trouble shooting any problems that might come up. I paid more than I wanted to for this breaker panel, I think it is a little over priced. But, it is quality made and does exactly what I want it to do. I had to purchase the DC Breakers separately.I’m using twin10 gauge low voltage outdoor wiring into my panel from my solar panels. There is plenty of room inside for routing and connecting my cables. There are numerous knockout plugs in the bottom for bringing wires into the box. The panel door and inside faceplate were a little tricky removing at first, but with a flat tip screw driver to pry them out it soon became an easy task.The dc circuit breakers I purchased to mount inside are rated @15 amps and seem to be working as planned. Do not expect them to ever trip since my panels output a max of 6 amps in bright sunlight. But if I should ever have to double up on one breaker I should be covered as well.Recommend

All 2/0 cables to inverter.Cotek S1500-124 pure sine wave inverter. Bank charged by Samlex SEC-2425UL in UPS mode. Sharp 240W panels, Outback FM80 charge controller and Midnite Solar MNPV6, MNSPD-300, EBBB, MNEPV breakers DC, and MNDC-GFP63 from Channel Island Electric as are the PV-MC4 double insulated cables.Will be adding a new bank of 208AH for a total of 416AH. If project grows an Outback Mate3 and FN-DC will be ordered.Cheers, John

This is my second purchase of this combiner. It does have aluminum parts inside, so probably not the best choice for coastal areas where salt air is a factor.

Not a deal breaker, but surely holds breaker.Easy to attach (fix location) and wire w/o to much of a problem.Easy slide on breaker DIN breakers solid construction.Waterproof ? maybe
