King's Weather Pro Leg Gaiters
H**R
My husband wanted these to walk through fields hunting ducks etc. Water proof fabric is important to keep his legs dry and warm.
I ordered a pair for a Christmas gift for my husband, they came with a snap broken, I sent them back and ordered a new pair that came right away with no problems. They are harder to get on than he thought they would be, only because he isn't very flexable. Nothing to do with the way they are made. He really liked these. I did find another pair for a tenth of the cost I haven't received yet to compare quality. I'll let you know when I get them and show the difference. They both say water proof the cheaper pair are black instead of camouflage.

just tried them on
as long as they are water proof and don't catch every cockelbur in the world, they fit good and look good. was hoping to keep my lower legs dry in am dew and keep the buck brush from pocking me . think this will do the trick

Quiet. Some design issues
A bit difficult to put on because of the zipper and velco. Extremely quiet in sage brush. Biggest complaint is that they tend to slide down when walking, the tensioning strap on the calf peeled off really easily.

Love them.
Originally started out with kings camo pants and ended up buying a whole outfit of camo. When I would step through high brush the sticks would pull my pants up and get dirt in my shoes and scrape my knees. I bought these and immediately took them on my 6.5 mile round trip hike and they performed flawlessly. Didn't loosen up and drop down below the calf, didn't even feel like they were on there. Walked through creeks and it kept my boots waterproof above the top of the shoe. And most importantly it's quiet as opposed to the kind that protect you from snakes which I love

Not the ones you'll swear by.
These are okay cheap gaiters for anyone who wants to keep light dew off the cuffs of their pants, and a pretty silent gaiter. First impressions were very tight fit around calves, and thus tough to zip up, and I've got chicken legs. However, this was mostly due to elastic, which does keep them from being floppy. Strap that runs beneath the boot is very cheaply made, and will clearly be worn out within a year or two of weekend use. The snap to fasten them to your boot laces is tough to fit between the tongue of your boot and boot laces, and comes undone when walking through thick vegetation. Worse of all, these gaiters are NOT WATERPROOF. The second morning I wore them I walked through wet grass (it rained the night prior), and within an hour I could feel dampness around my ankles. I don't know if the water seeps through the zipper or the material, but by the end of the morning my pant cuffs were noticeably wet from my ankles to my calves.Bottom line: they keep debris out of your boots if you have low boots and short pants, and will keep you dry in dewy, not soaked grass. If you want anything more in a gaiter, keep shopping.

Size?
I have 22 inch calves... and these didn't come close to fitting.

Matched my Kings Camouflage desert jacket.
Very durable, fit great and quite. Great quality and priced great. I expect years of use.

Great Product
Nice fit, great protection, kept my feet dry and warm through the snow and rain. They also did a great job protecting my nice hunting rain pants from the mountain whitethorn.
