Skeptic no more
This is my first frameless float tube, so I was skeptical about alot of things. Would it be easy to setup, use, and store. Took it out my first time on a small lake. Even with a hand pump it took 10 minutes to setup for use. Would of been faster but I was being careful to not over inflate as it states not to. Using the handles I carried it 50 yards from my car to the lake easily. Using it was even easier and a joy to maneuver around. Everything fit nicely in a large duffle bag I had. Note: The hardest part about it was getting the foot bar on. The buttom loop holding it in place was hard to open push the bar through. I ordered from backcountry and it came on time as promised no damge.

Highly recommend this! Love the nice oar system
I have a fish cat float tube, love it but decided to buy the Scout so I could cover more water and get to places it would take me forever to reach by just kicking with fins in a float tube. Having a bad back,I was scared the inflatable seat would be too mushy but this is not the case. I wish I could find a recliner for my home this comfortable! The oar system is great and it is built rugged. You sit high and dry enough to get away with using hip waders. I'm 6 foot 2 and wish the foot bar was a little further away. I wear long divers fins and have to reach down and bend my flippers to get them out of the water and onto the bar. The Stealth pro might have more room, not sure. I air mine up with an electric pump in 3 mins and the top it off with a hand pump to finish.Over all,I'm very pleased with it and love being able to use hip waders. There is lots of storage room in the back and the stuff you put in the back stays dry. I bought mine through troutfitters.com on Amazon. They offered a $65 dollar gift certificate. That along with tax free and free shipping sold me on them. I have called them a couple of times to ask questions and they were very helpful. Anyway; I'm in Float Tube Heaven now!
