Great cable! 5 metres is more than long enough, and suited my purpose. It helped improve the speed of my device. However, you may need to buy a ethernet hub if your device does not have an ethernet port (which is what I did). Really easy to plug in and out too!

It is most definitely much better to pay more for something like this, I could not figure out why I was only getting 94mbps with 1 gig broadband & it has been that way for a while, so I thought I would try a more expensive ethernet cable, so I saw these UGreen ones & even went to their direct website to have a look & I got to say these cables are brilliant now I am back to the speed I should be getting over 900mbps. It is just a shame they never had their gaming ethernet cables in 5 m length only 3m which is to short for me, so I brought 2 of these 5m cables & 2 1m cables, all in all internet speed is constant & has been for the last few days, well made, flex well, simple to use & they actually come with protective caps on the ends, so my advice don't buy cheap buy UGreen. LOL

Connected to the laptop's USB port and to the desktop ethernet. This is on Arch Linux and it worked without a problem.

Does as intended. Recently switched for my Old Ethernet for my Router and the speeds tremendously increased and there’s no buffering and the mechanical protection is on point! Amazing product highly recommend!
