It didn’t work at first like some of the reviews say but then I just turned the switch and jiggled the wires and it works fine every time now no problem. I love the product.

They sent me a used product. It looked like it has been dragged through the dirt and sent to me after stuffing it haphazardly into the packaging. Someone sent it back, and the packaging is best up. The product didn't work after trying a different power cable. (The one supplied was broken.)

My HDMI inputs on the TV went out so I bought this adapter and an HDMI switch. I connect the adapter to the component jacks in the back of the tv and the switch to the adapter. Now I can run all my HDMI systems through the component setup. It works pretty good. It has a few glitches, but I really have no complaints. It sometimes takes a while to convince it to see something and unpluging the device and plugging it back it seems to help. This may be due to my television. It's a Westinhouse 46" LED and is fairly old. Sometimes I switch to PAL or back to NTSC. I have no idea why, but these things work to wake it up. Normally the HDMI switch just switches to the device that I turn on or if two devices are on I can use a remote to change the input that the HDMI switch is looking at. This HDMI to AV adapter seems to send whatever it is given from the HDMI switch.

Item was as expected, but did not work on our older model projection screen television properly. Make sure you do your research before buying this item because it's most likely not the item being faulty, but just doesn't work well for the t.v.

All I have to say is wow! I used this for an old tube TV i got for free, hooked it up to a blue Ray player and the picture is HD quality. I was pleasently surprised I thought it would only convert the picture not make it HD. Great product.

Check the package contents and test the item immediately. I ordered two of these. The first one I opened worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the one I opened just today (a month later) did not. There is no power cord, and I cannot contact the seller due to some issue with the Amazon site stating that I did not order it from the seller. This is despite the order stating that I did indeed buy it from the seller. As such, I seem to be stuck with a worthless brick of plastic. I bought a SquareTrade protection plan when I got it, but I don't know if they are going to cover missing pieces. Also, the fact that it is generic with no clue what the model number would be makes it impossible to register without live help. I'll know more after the weekend.

It does exactly what I needed to. Connected a PS4 VIA ITS HTMI OUTPUT TO RCA VIDEO AND AUDIO on my Sony XBR 40 ' RCA audio and video input. You may even get a htmi to mini usb cable adapter and connect you Android phone to your analogue tv. Video signal and aspect ratio must be tweaked on both your player software in your phone and tv if and wgherever available. Awesome product meeting its objectice and end ourpose.
