Hilier Clothes Rail with Shoe Shelf Large Storage capacity (Black)

I read the previous reviews. Some said it was flimsy; some said it was value for money. I was a bit concerned that the written information said it was 15cm wide, whilst the picture showed it to be 60cm. Luckily the width was 60cm although the usable rail is only 57cm wide. (The dimensions on the product description show the following: 24D x 15W x 62H centimetres so not only do they mean inches but they got the depth and width round the wrong way!).This unit is fine if you just want something that is small and will hold half a dozen things on hangers but the fittings are poor and I've ended up using strong tape to hold the top rail in place as the fitting in the rail came out immediately I touched it. I would have returned it but I needed the item today. (Delivery was fast but a replacement was unlikely to get here for a few days) The unit does have 2 metal shelves but I had to straighten both of them before I built it.Assembling and building the unit were easy although I had trouble with the screws seating themselves. It was far more frustrating than it should have been.Looking again at the reviews, I've now noticed that all the 5 star reviews were in or before 2020. Perhaps quality control or material cost has meant the item is poorer value than it was then.All in all, not the experience I would want to repeat.

Very easy to assemble but not worth doing it. It's a wast of money very flimsy. And it was broke withing a day. Wouldn't recommen

Sturdy wise I think it’s ok for the amount I put, I wouldn’t overstuff it but it does the job and for the price I’m quite happy.Assembly wise pretty easy, no need for any extra screwdrivers (Allen key provided within the set) so that was a breeze.Size wise, width is roughly around the size of a small door which is a good size for us, if you’re looking for something small and does the job without ripping your wallet apart this is good.

Buy cheap buy twice indeed! Bought and returned two of these. Absolutely a waste of time and money they’re junk! How they’re allowed to sell these is beyond me! Worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon! Bent, cheap rubbish!

Good product for those who have little storage or a small room not big enough for a wardrobe. A little flimsy if you want alot of clothes or coats on them tho.
