Amazon Basics Metal Wire Storage Basket with Wooden Base

The colour wasn't my furst choice but I'm on a budget and this one was cheaper than silver. It's fairly inoffensive though and is a good size for bananas and apples etc

This looked a little bit out of place on my kitchen table as I would say this is more for people who don’t have children as it very smart and not really made for little hands which meant it didn’t last that long in this house.It’s part of the amazon brand which shocked me as the retail price was really expensive especially for what you get - a metal wire fruit basket with a wooden base (copper)We did use this for fruit but like I said it didn’t last long in this house but it could have been used for so many other things.It was a nice size, looked precise, gave great air circulation which made the fruit last longer.I think I might have replaced this if the price tag was a little lower and would have just moved it out of reach from little hands.

I think it looks nice, an attractive colour and nice symmetry to the triangle design, with a small wooden base. It would contain a lot of fruit as it is quite large, but it`s also doing a good job at keeping all my remotes in one place :)

I have been supplied with the copper plated version of this fruit basket as opposed to the black one to review for Amazon Vine.I am quite pleased with that as aesthetically the copper version in my opinion looks superior.This is an excellent fruit basket from the Amazon Basics range,it very spacious providing good capacity to store pretty much whatever fruit or even veg that you want.The metallic cage of the fruit basket is both sturdy and durable and would easily hold even the heaviest of fruit/veg.The large triangular gaps in the fruit basket are particularly useful to help circulate air around your fruit,so should help prevent a build up of heat and therefore should result in a longer shelf life for your produce.The fruit basket has a solid wooden base with a teak colour finish.This is already being utilized after the first day of arrival and is a fine addition to my kitchen

Quite simple to put together. Very sturdy and stable. We use ours as a fruit bowl, but smaller items can come through the gaps, so we tend to put them in the centre. It is very attractive. Looking at the price - ours was a free sample - it is ok, perhaps more than we would have paid, but there is no doubting the quality and attractiveness of the item. It certainly is eye catching and makes a good centre-piece for your dining table.
